The Mirumoto nodded. "It is a world I think could be easily appreciated... the change, the motion, the action, the wildness. The sea in a storm is a world where life is full but on an edge. If you wished that sort of life, the sea offers that most readily."
She gave a soft shrug. "Some would call the mountains boring, and rightly so. The mountain that you see with your eyes has changed little from the one your distant ancestor would have seen. Perhaps... it merely takes a different way of thinking, to see wonder in the creeping change of the mountains. They are certainly not without dangers, calm or storm."
