Dageki nodded. "Good. I especially don't wanna die here." The ashigaru looked down at his feet for several, considering the offer before he looked up again, staring O-Washi in the eyes. "No need to get fancy, Isawa-sama. Just the same way you'd execute any peasant." There was a moment of tension that passed through the man. The feeling that he knew this was wrong and that he felt O-Washi felt the same way.
Then he looked down again. "Good. Arigato, Isawa-gunso. She ain't the seadog I am."
Dageki was quiet for several long seconds before he spoke up again. "There was somethin' else. Durin' the fight. Felt like somethin' was tryin' to get into my head. I don't know what it was. Might 'o been some evil spirit tryin to get in my head or maybe one of them shugenjas panicked and tried castin' something on me. I didn't see nothin' though. But I felt it, it happened."
