(Moon 14, Afternoon, Crew Quarters) Triage

[Volsung]

Touhi looked down at the ground. "Oh. Well. I'm not sure I should. Seems a waste to use a spell on me when I'm gonna be fine. -sama." The fact that her brother would likely stick a spear through him first and ask questions later if he saw the Daidoji with her probably factored into her refusal as well. "I'll keep everythin' you said in mind. If'n I feel sick again I'll get help. I ain't so stubborn as some."

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Setting the shoulder was he supposed do be setting the shoulder? Didn't you do that before you put the bandages on? A small frown on his face the mantis glances over at his teacher. "Not quite sure how to set his shoulder in place can you show me an example? I figure just tugging on it wouldn't be the right thing to do."

Rinzuki nods and steps up to Musasha. "Hida-sama, would you be so kind as to kneel down for me? I'm afraid that you're just a tad bit too big for me to handle while you're standing up."

[Hida Musasha]

The big Hida takes a knee, giving the young lady better access to the knotted muscles that amassed as his shoulder.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"Thank you so much." Rinzuki flashes him a warm smile before turning to face Kaito. "Now, this is the easiest way to set a shoulder when your patient is larger than yourself."

Lifting a knee, the Unicorn woman braces it against Musasha's chest as she takes his arm in both hands and wrenches it back into the socked with a single swift motion.

[Hida Musasha]

The wet crunching noise is the only sign that that probably hurt. Musasha simply nods his silent approval.

[Daidoji Fuichi]

"It would hardly be a waste; you're an integral part of the crew. Anyway, it would only be a small step toward repaying the injury I've caused you."

He bowed once more. "I will offer my prayers to Jurojin for your speedy recovery."

Touhi kept her eyes on her feet, a blush beginning to form on her face from the praise and complements she was getting. "Arigato, Daidoji-sama." She manages to mutter.

[Daidoji Fuichi]

He smiled quietly.

"You've nothing to thank me for. Now, I'm sure your brother is worried sick. Why don't you lend him your strength?"

[Volsung]

Touhi smiled and slowly got back to her feet. "Hai, Arigato, -sama." The woman tried to bow but quickly thought better of the attempt.

[Asahina Narumi]

Narumi turns to Choukichi as she quietly goes over a basic idea with him. "An important part of medicine is to make the patient comfortable. It is my opinion that etiquette is second to having an agreeable patient, since such a patient will show more trust and follow instructions better." She had seen the concern on his face with the reading conversation the Daidoji sparked. "A rude or unpleasant doctor will find such feelings returned, no matter how much they are helping. It is easier for both parties if things are civil and relaxed."

[Yoritomo Kaito]

The mantis watches the move with interest apparently it really wasn't much more then then just pulling it back into place though likely you had to pull it in the right direction. Still though that meant the practice was over unless the Hida wanted to dislocate it again.

"Ah I think I see how ya do it. Thank you for the demonstration Iuchi-san." He says with a nod of thanks. "I take it generally speaking you would wrap it after you reset the shoulder rather then before though?"

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"Generally speaking, yes." She smiles at him. "But you were doing such a nice job with it."

[Kakita Sugita]

Nozomi watches. "V-very good bandaging t-technique, Akodo-san, but you're forgetting a few things." She carefully unbandages O-Washi's ankle, and neatly folds the materials back up.

"Kakita-san, wh-what would you do?"

... "There's more to it than that?" Shouldn't expect much.

[Shiba Nozomi]

Baby steps.

"Hai. First th-thing, reg-regardless of injury, is y-you want to ch-check if th-they're c-conscious. In the m-middle of b-battle, a c-conscious man is easier t-to move than o-one c-co-completely out. Always t-try and g-get an injured p-person t-to a safe place. In a f-f-fight, you're no g-good to anyone wh-when you're he-healing if y-you just m-make yourself a b-big t-target in doing so." She takes a deep breath. This explaining thing was hard when your nervousness worked so acutely against you. She imagines hearing her own sensei explain it to her, and her wavery tone becomes a bit more solid.

"Next... the b-bandage you put on his a-ankle," She places a small cool hand lightly on O-Washi's calf," won't b-be as effective if h-his knee is also hurt...." Her touch is almost ghost-like as it slides up the Isawa's leg.

"Or his back," She makes a few small gestures indicating other possible problem areas. "Ch-checking for o-other injuries all at once s-saves you time later."

She hands the roll of bandaging to the Crane, "You try."

[Yoritomo Kaito]

"Generally speaking, yes." She smiles at him. "But you were doing such a nice job with it."

The mantis nodded once at the answer and flashed a smile at the praise his eyes on the bandages. He would have to remember to do it the other way around if the chance should ever come up. "You think I should redo the bandages Iuchi-san or you figure that they will be fine like that?"

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"You could try to redo it, if you'd like." Bounce. "There's nothing wrong with more practice, mmm?"

[Yoritomo Kaito]

Kaito nodded slightly glancing at the woman out of the corner of his eye's as she bounced. I wonder if she practices that... Momentarily distracted by the thought of the iuchi bouncing up and down in front of a mirror Kaito doesn't immediately answer.

"Ah I guess a lil more practice wouldn't hurt after all." With that said the mantis begins to unwrap the Hida's shoulder in order to do the whole wrapping procedure all over again. This time making a horrible mess of the procedure.

[Kakita Sugita]

The bandage is taken hesitantly. "I think I got what you said. Some of it anyway." Sugita had to lean in closer and really concentrate. "Gotta speak up on a ship. The ocean is loud. ... And so are all these people."

"Anyway..." Ankle? Bandage? K. "Knees? Sure." The way Sugita wraps the bandage he must think tightness is the most important thing. There are few other qualities.

[Agasha Qian-Fan]

Control regained, Qian-Fan turned to those not already occupied, or had not already shown medical training.

"Perhaps someone could show me the method they would use to splint a broken leg?"

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Sure, Agasha-san." Xiao Hua nodded, walking to the man. "Which bone would I need to assume broken?"
