I'm gonna Kill Him (Moon 15, Aftdeck, Afternoon, Open)

[Volsung]

Dageki was stomping around the aftdeck. Still more than a little furious. "Damn Crane. Damn Shugenjas. Near killin' her and then walkin' around like nothin' happened. Then givin' her stuff she can't read like he knows best."

Furaito rolled her eyes some. "Dageki-sama. Calm down. Nothin' for it."

Dageki whirled on her. "Nothin' for it? She's lucky she didn't die thanks to that son of a bitch." Dageki put his hand in his satchel, grabbing the still bloody carving of the fortune.

"Isawa-sama said she'd be fine."

"She'd be more fine if that butterfingers hadn't cracked her head open." Dageki snarled, pulling his hand out of his satchel again.

[Shinjo Qulan]

Qulan took a bit of a walk up to the aftdeck. Being cooped up was not exactly her idea of fun, and this way she'd at least get a (rather depressing) view. Hearing the disgruntled ashigaru, though, made her a bit concerned. Her Shinjo upbringing made her a bit more sensitive to the needs of heimin.

She frowned with concern and turned towards them. "Ummm, excuse me..."

[Volsung]

Both ashigaru stopped very quickly. Dageki said nothing just yet though as Furaito stepped up. "Hai, Shinjo-sama? What do ya need?"

[Shinjo Qulan]

"The woman that was hurt... Is she okay?" The woman asked in a worried tone. "I overheard that she'd be alright... But she might still be in a good amount of pain."

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Then, in what was perhaps the greatest instance of bad luck since the Unfortunate Impalement of Shiba Quan, Daidoji Fuichi stepped out onto the deck.

[Volsung]

Dageki turned to look at the samurai with an evil glint in his eye as Furaito expertly moved to step between the two so they couldn't see each other. "A bit dizzy still. But there ain't much for it. Got quite a bump on the he-" She stops talking as Fuichi stepped out on the deck.

Dageki had noticed as well and had started stalking towards the man when Furaito turned and blocked him bodily. "Dageki-sama. No." she whispered. Then looked back at Qulan. "It is kind of you to ask about her health, -sama."

Dageki bumped into Furaito and that was enough to stop him from moving for now. It wasn't hard to tell what was on his mind though as he stared at Fuichi.

[Shinjo Qulan]

"I am a Unicorn. We've been ensuring the health and safety of out heimin personally since our founding. It always concerns me when one is hurt..." Qulan frowned. "I believe I was there when she was hurt. Training session, correct?"

[Volsung]

Furaito looked a little confused for a moment, not entirely certain what Qulan was talking about.

Dageki meanwhile turned his ire on the Shinjo. "Oh yeah, you really care. That's why you don't even know 'er fuckin' name! That asshole dropped a big chunk 'o wood on her head from the nest. Funny, I thought they'd bring us more competent shugenjas for this trip. 'Stead we get a shugenja so bad at his job he gets controlled by the kami instead of controlling them."

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Catching sight of the argument between her fellow Unicorn and some of the crew, Rinzuki wanders closer and places a comforting hand on Qulan's arm.

"Qulan-chan, are you upsetting the heimin?" She glances towards Dageki with a raised eyebrow, as if curious as to just what was going on.

[Shinjo Qulan]

"I... I..." Qulan seemed a bit more shocked about being yelled at by Dageki than anything. She even forgot that Rinzuki touching her was a bad thing. "I don't know..."

[Volsung]

As the samurai quailed the ashigaru looked even more annoyed. "Bah! Why don't you go fish in the armory again and quit wasting my damn time." Throwing his hands in the air, Dageki turned his back on the pair of Unicorns and started stalking away.

Furaito blinked a few times. "Um, I'm sure he didn' mean that, samurai-samas. He's just a little," She glanced over at Dageki as he kicked an errant bucket out of his way and it went skittering across the deck. "angry, 's all."

[Shinjo Qulan]

"Fish? In the armory? Again?" Qulan was so confused. "How can someone fish in the armory? There's no water... And I've never held a rod in my life..."

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"You don't always need a rod to fish," Rinzuki points out with a smirk. Turning to Qulan, she pats the girl's arm reasurringly. "Once we're in safer waters, I'll take you out on a skiff and show you how it's done. If you'd like."

[Volsung]

Dageki turned, yelling back, not really caring who heard him. "Oh hai, we all know ya ain't never held a rod. You're a fan of clams from what I hear."

Furaito was looking a little more meaningfully at Qulan and Rinzuki now, the faint hint of a smile of amusement on her lips.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"That's quite enough," Rinzuki hisses as she turns on Dageki with a snarl. "There is a line in the sand, and you have crossed it, peasant."

[Shinjo Qulan]

"... With a net?" Qulan was even more confused. Especially by Dageki's comment. "...Clams? I actually don't think I've ever had clams before."

[Yoritomo Choukichi]

Shout enough and make a scene on the deck of a ship in the sea of shadows and you are bound to draw an audience. Against his better judgement, Choukichi makes some warding gestures and heads towards the source of all the yelling, he keeps his distance though, only interested in finding out what is going on for now though.

[Volsung]

Things had gone very quiet between Dageki's own comments and now Rinzuki's. Dageki's sights turned on the Iuchi and he started to move towards the duo again, he seemed more than eager to continue crossing this supposed line until he was once again bodily stopped by Furaito who had a bit more sense than him at the moment.

"Says the woman who- oomph!" Dageki's eyes went a bit wide as Furaito slugged him in the gut to keep him from finishing that sentence. The man took a few steps back, looking death at all three women. His fist clenched and Furaito got herself ready for him to swing at her.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki reaches into her scroll satchel and withdraws one of her scrolls, her eyes never leaving Dageki.

[Shinjo Qulan]

Qulan made a point to step in front of the woman, she didn't want Furaito to get hurt because Dageki was mad at her.
