(Moon 14, Afternoon, Crew Quarters) Triage

[Akodo Jishaku]

Jishaku was more used to sending people to meet their ancestors than patching up those who had failed to die honourably, so it was all new to him. Without crowding anyone he moved closer to the action to see about getting a better look.

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Fuichi nodded. "I see. I would like to check your head for swelling. Is that alright? Just the verbal answer is fine, no need to move your head."

[Usagi Zenko]

"Hi Kitsuki-sama." The Hare says merrily. Really the injury wasn't much to look at. (3 wounds left from 9 originally.)

[Volsung]

"Erm, hai -sama?" Apaprently Touhi wasn't all that knowledgeable in the ways of medicine, that or she couldn't remember them. She managed to stop herself from bobbing her head, though she seemed to think it would be a good idea to sit down. She found the nearest seat that wasn't taken with little fuss and eased herself into it.

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Very carefully, Fuichi began to remove the bandages, intent on checking the wound and its near environs for any possible swelling, as well as whether it was surface swelling or something much worse.

"You'll have to be very careful about what kind of tasks you perform over the next few weeks. When Yoritomo-san comes back with that Ginkgo, I'll show you how to make a tea that will help you get some of your energy back. It's not the best tasting, but far better than the stuff Agasha-san has me drinking."

[Yoritomo Choukichi]

As soon as Fuichi makes the request, Choukichi heads off to fulfill it. Though he has had some medical training he is not too familliar with most herbs so it does take him a little bit to find what was asked and bring the ginkgo leaves and hot water.

[Volsung]

There was quite a bit of swelling at the injury, but little blood currently on or near the wound. From a preliminary examination, it didn't look like there would be any permanent damage, but head wounds were always a tricky thing to say how serious the damage had been.

Touhi for her part stared ahead with only the occasional wince as the Daidoji poked at her. "Hai, -sama." She said with that same tone that she used when she wasn't actually completely comprehending the orders given to her.

[Kitsuki Kotsu]

"Hi Kitsuki-sama." The Hare says merrily. Really the injury wasn't much to look at. (3 wounds left from 9 originally.)

"While the injuries are minor, treatment will help ward off any secondary effects that could set in."

[Asahina Narumi]

Seeing that Fuichi had the patient well handled, she ushered Jishaku closer, giving him room to see what the Daidoji was doing. She didn't need this lesson so she watched from behind the Lion and Mantis, quietly pointing and giving simple explanations of the steps that were being taken.

[Akodo Jishaku]

"Thank you, Asahina-san."Jishaku gives the Crane a light bow and moves into the space she had created for him. Peering at the Daidoji's work he nods at the Asahina's commentary, occasionally asking questions but mostly just watching the work being done.

[Shiba Nozomi]

Nozomi manages only the slightest of blushes. Either from the Hida taking off his shirt, the Iuchi doing her best to beg for attention, or the incredibly lewd comment from the... wow, a Crane of all things... one can't really be sure. Maybe all of them combined.

While everyone else gets up and begins to poke at those injured, Nozomi moves from her seat to make room for them all. She finds a place near O-Washi, but keeps her attention on those who were attempting medical assessment and treatment.

As the large Isawa had stated, this was mostly for those who were not trained as ship's medics. If she was needed, she'd be asked for, until then, she'd stay out of the way.

[Isawa O-Washi]

It did not escape the big man's notice that the small Shiba who had been so very afraid of him to start was now hovering over him. The oddity of it drew his attention from his brooding and he cocked a brow. "Need an injury to demonstrate to some of the others, Shiba-san? I can fake a sprained ankle if you like....it would be a shame to waste your expertise when you could be teaching."

[Shiba Nozomi]

Hovering over him wasn't quite the right phrase. More like being pulled into his orbit. Nozomi regards him seriously from under her thick bangs, replying quietly, "If y-you'd like O-Washi-gunso, I'd be h-honored."

[Kakita Sugita]

Bored... So bored that Sugita is looking agitated. This medical stuff is beyond him.

[Bayushi Nobuyoshi]

Nobuyoshi actually had some battlefield medical training. Not very nice and tender stuff, but enough to get someone mobile again. He casually looks about the room to see if there's someone in particular to demonstrate his skills upon while wondering if the sick bay packed acupuncture needles.

[Rixy]

O-washi nodded at the small Shiba. "Go pick a pair of bored folks and bring 'em back. I wrenched an ankle badly several years ago, I well remember what it looks like."

[Shiba Nozomi]

"H-hai Sensei!" she bowed smartly to him and then scans those currently not doing anything.

A half a moment later, she stands before the lewd Crane, and bows. "Crane-san, O-Wa-washi-gunzo has requested your assistance. Pu-Please make your way to his table."

Not waiting for a reply, and obviously expecting him to listen or face whatever hidden wrath the Isawa might have, she moves on to find a second student...

Approaching Akodo Jishaku, who seemed to be standing at the back of the crowd, she bows properly low to him, as well. "Akodo-sama, w-would you like a l-little hands-on experience?" A tiny hand extends towards where the gunzo sits waiting.

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Fuichi began to apply fresh bandage-work, asking quietly: "So, have you read anything interesting lately?"

[Kakita Sugita]

"Wha... Oh. OK." Sugita hadn't been paying much attention, and the soft spoken Phoenix barely managed to break the spell. "Hai. Domo."

"Gunso..." Sugita reports in. No clue what he's supposed to be doing.

[Hida Musasha]

The Hida let himself be prodded and bandaged without complaint. A few of the misteps of the untrained ones would have caused another man to scream or groan, he just silently watched.

He rather looked forward to the skilled healers finally getting to work on him so they'd pop his shoulder back into socket first.
