[Moon 13, Morning - Crew Quarters] Safe? (open)

[Usagi Zenko]

Zenko crawled out of his bunk, his feet finding the ground with some agility. He looked around quickly to make sure that everything was still right side-up, and then knelt to look into his sea-chest, to make sure that nothing had floated away.

Sure, paranoid Hare. But you can't say the Ocean doesn't do strange things. How do I know if it can't creep in here and steal all my supplies?

[Ikoma Hikaru]

A few moments later Ikoma Hikaru passes into the crew quarters on his way back from his sparse breakfast. He is dressed in the grey uniform provided by the Legion. The Ikoma mon next to the Imperial.

On his way back to his bunk he passes the Hare.

"Greetings Usegi-san." He says flatly.

[Hida Musasha]

The Hida drops down with his bucket to stow his shaving supplies. He grunts at the other two as he sets the bucket next to his armor chest.

[Usagi Zenko]

He looks up briefly, and then stands, grabbing his blanket and proceeding to fold it.

"Hello!" He peers forwards. "Ah, Ikoma-sama!" He straightens again, and then unfolds the blanket, not happy with how he'd folded it the first time. Trying again he continues.

"I hope Inari-kami has blessed your day?" he says with an attempt at cheerfulness. Routine. If I find a routine, I can not think about it!

He nods to the Hida, peering at the entryway for a few moments to make sure the endless water didn't follow the man in, before returning to the task at hand. "Ah, Hida-sama. Hello!"

[Ikoma Hikaru]

Hearing the grunt of some wild animal a perplexed Hikaru turns back around.

Oh its a Crab that makes more sense.......

"Good morning Hida-san. I pray your morning is going well thus far?" He says with a shallow bow.

[Hida Musasha]

He shrugs, "Can't use th' water ta bathe with here, so not really." He gets the bucket out of the way and stows his daisho away, a fresh sheen of oil upon it.

"Ya both know where we are, right?"

[Ikoma Hikaru]

Hikaru nods and says flatly.

"Hai Hida-san."

He leaves it at that as not to offend his Crab friend. With no real experiance against the Shadowlands Hikaru has no idea what the Sea of Shadows would hold in store and there for had no real anxiety about being in it.

[Usagi Zenko]

"Land?" he asks, hopefully. He looks up to the Hida, a light of yearning in his eyes with tinges of fear that the Hida would say otherwise.

[Ikoma Hikaru]

Hikaru smirks at the Usegi's answer.

The Crabs response was sure to be entertaining.

[Hida Musasha]

The Hida looks at the rabbit with pity, "Be glad yer wrong. We go ashore here, and we'll see th' Carpenter Wall a long ways off...in th' wrong direction."

[Usagi Zenko]

"Oh." he says, gulping. "I...I suppose.." I can't believe I'm saying this "that would be worse then. Anything we can do to be careful?" he asks.

"Stay below deck? Keep jade handy?" he suggests, trying to be helpful.

[Ikoma Hikaru]

"I would suggest not falling into the water." Hikaru smirks.

[Hida Musasha]

The Hida shrugs, "Jade is good, though, not as necessary where we are. If anyone starts actin' weird, say somethin' ta th' officers quick. If ya see anythin' out o' th' ordinary, too. An' like th' Ikoma here, said. Don' go swimmin' er bathin' fer any reason."

[Usagi Zenko]

"I would suggest not falling into the water." Hikaru smirks.

"Yes. Yes." His tone makes it apparent that the suggestion is something he is very well aware of and was likely foremost on his mind. Although, whether or not it was because of what's in the water is a different story.

"My thanks, Ikoma-sama." he tries cracking a smile. Thank you for tonight's nightmares, o-great and obvious font of wisdom you.

He nods though listening to the Hida's more lengthy explanation. "Ah yes. I've a little training in watching for those weird actions." He sounds confident for the first time that morning.

[Ikoma Hikaru]

"Pardon this ones rudeness, I do not belive I have properly introduced myself to either of you. This one is Ikoma Hikaru, cousin of Ikoma Haigo. It is an honor to meet you both" He says with another bow.

[Hida Musasha]

"Hida Musasha." The big guy is partially bowing already from the cramped room. His helmet taps against the back of his leg armor as it dangles from his tetsubo strapped to the small of his back.

[Usagi Zenko]

He bows. Oh. Important guy. Back on land. Oh, how I miss you sweet sweet land. He straightens after a few moments, perhaps longer than he should have been bowing with his distraction.

"You meet then Usagi Zenko, recently guard at the Shrine to Inari at Shiro Usagi," he offers.

"My apologies if I've been scarce the past few days. But, no time like the present to meet crew mates, yes?"

[Hida Musasha]

Musasha pulls his stool out from behind his chest, unfolds it, and takes a seat on it. "Not really th' place I'd choose. I tend ta bang my head down here a lot. Much rather be up in th' riggin', er up on deck where I ken watch th' railings."

[Ikoma Hikaru]

"I can see how it would be uncomfortable for you Hida-san. I also prefer to be up in the rigging or the Crows nest. The view is spectacular. Water for as far as the eye can see. It really was breath taking yesterday. Well minus the dark clouds and evil looking water the one direction." Hikaru says looking at the Usegi

[Usagi Zenko]

"Oh? The rigging? I'll have to try that." He sounds curious until Hikaru explains what you see up there. "I can't say I enjoy the railings all that much as of yet."

He sits on his sea-chest so as not to be awkward. "I thought perhaps it would be good to be familiarized with the area under the top floor there, as I'm a little smaller in size and I'll need to know the angles if I need to move quickly."

He looks around a little. "None of the walls will break if say, one pushes on them too hard?"
