[Moon 12, Aft Deck, Early Afternoon] Sea of Fog (Open)

[Bayushi Hoshi]

"A commanding officer can only compensate so much of his followers before they need to repay back his leadership with competency. Hopefully most of us will follow through." Hoshi said in an off-handed comment. "First, but not the last, I'm sure. It's a small floating world Akodo-san here, I don't think any of us can afford to keep solitary."

[Akodo Amuro]

"That is so, on all counts Bayushi-san." he said simply.

[Bayushi Hoshi]

"Not the same as being on land, and maybe the hardest thing to get used to around here other than just water everywhere. Family is unlikely but friends, will have to manage. Nothing so far tells me that you'll have difficulty Akodo-san."

[Akodo Amuro]

"You are too generous to this one in your praise Bayushi-san. Thank you. " he bowed politely. "Still you are right, for better or worse everyone here will either need to have some camaraderie established for their own well being as well as the well being of those who will depend on them."

"If I may ask. Do you prefer the fog or the open sky as we have sailed?"

[Bayushi Hoshi]

Hoshi flicked a glance to the bowing Akodo, she didn't really think of it as too great of a compliment at the time she said it. For the moment, she had little to go on about the Lion after all. She managed a moment's smile and nodded once. "Mm." She said in acceptance.

"The..." She lifted a hand to gesture at the fog rolling pass their view. "..fog is lovely at first I admit. But it soon overstays its welcome. I prefer to know where I'm moving, don't you?"

[Akodo Amuro]

"Yes, I do." he says "though I will admit that the fog has the benefit of keeping one on their toes."

[Bayushi Hoshi]

"A bit of fog does some good for people after all...right?" She said with almost a smile apparent in her tone. "Should we worry when there's no fog then?"

[Akodo Amuro]

"I think we both know a story or two about correlations between beautiful things, lowered guards and tragedies." he replied with another smile.

[Bayushi Hoshi]

Some amusement went to her eyes and she gave some nods in agreement. "They are the favourite sort of stories from my home Akodo-san. I just hope that it doesn't take fog to keep one on their toes, otherwise pirates will start making a habit of attacking in broad daylight."

[Akodo Amuro]

He laughed again. "Quite true. I thank you for the company Bayushi-san, I must need attend my weapons for the second time this day. This air is terrible for them, otherwise." he gives a respectable bow to her.

[Bayushi Hoshi]

"That's fine." Hoshi said in acceptance to his excuse with a bow, then she casually prepared herself in watching the fog again. "Carry the Fortunes Akodo-san."

[Akodo Amuro]

Isn't that all we do. Carry them. "Same with you Bayushi-san."

Crossing her arms together, she returned to viewing the wall of fog that danced in front of them, pondering if there was going to be even much of a favourable view when (and if) they parted...
