[Moon 11:Morning-Map Room, Open] Little Things

[Shiba Nozomi]

Nozomi, for almost the first time, wonders at the amazing usefulness of a tan and the ability to barely hide the tiny blushes that have suddenly become regular occurences.

Glancing at the piece's proper place, she mumbles. "Ah... s-sumi...as-sen."

Something he says sinks in. "She s-smiles?"

[Yoritomo Uminushi]

"On occasion, for other reasons than to scare the trainees in to crapping their pants, yes," he chuckles and winks, "But don't tell her I told you that..."

[Shiba Nozomi]

Seems this crew liked to keep things from each other. It was kind of fun. "Not a w-word." If they'd had a Scouts Honor hand symbol, she probably would have made it.

"Ano... I'm probably keeping y-you from something im-important... I should go now." A small glance towards the door. No point in overstaying a welcome and being a bother to the most important person on the ship.

[Yoritomo Uminushi]

The Shiba had the undignified honor of having her hair mussed and ruffled, "Busy? Aye, always... important? That can be debated. But I do need to get myself over to the Orochi's Wake before Kiriyo has a conniption."

Uminushi pauses and hand lifting to scratch his chin, "Though she is rather cute when she's in a fury... hmm... dilemmas."

[Shiba Nozomi]

Nozomi isn't quite sure what to do, so she simply endures the hair ruffling. Once he's done she sits there quietly for a moment, hair out at odd angles.

"Then, I shouldn't k-keep you. Ano... before you go, though..." She glances quickly over to the shrine. "I-is it okay if I c-come in here and p-pray from time to t-time?"

Eyes falling to the little ships on the table once more, she adds quickly. "I w-won't touch anything e-else..."

[Yoritomo Uminushi]

"If you keep it around this hour, I'll try to remember and have clothes on," he agrees mildly with another flash of that roguish grin.

[Shiba Nozomi]

She nods, careful to avoid dwelling on the mental image of the captain in his fundoshi. "O-ok."

Rising fully, she moves to the door, then turns and bows to him. "Fortune's b-blessings, Yoritomo-captain."

[Yoritomo Uminushi]

"And on you," he replies with all due solemnity, though his eyes betray that good-natured amusement.

[Shiba Nozomi]

She shuffles quietly out the door, soft footfalls receding down the hallway.

Uminushi makes sure the door is closed before sauntering back to his own personal quarters. He pats the wooden tanuki on its head again. The man pauses and cocks his head at the statue, "Eehh, I don't know Ponpo-kun... they might still. You know how the crew are."
