[Foredeck, Moon 10 - Evening] Breathe

[Shiba Naomi]

Naomi was more than happy to let the two airborne samurai amuse themselves.
"Good evening, Bayushi-san," she gave in quick greeting as she recognized the Scorpion. She didn't seem to mind at all his lapse.

[Bayushi Kichirou]

Setting his armor down on the deck Kichirou gave the Phoenix a smile before turning to watch the pair of samurai drift through the air, "I must say every time I see it I am astonished at just how much the Kami can do for us." he says bit wistfully, "Bayushi Kichirou, I don't think we've been properly introduced yet." he offers before looking to his armor, "Would you mind if I sat? My armor bore the brunt of my learning today and I should tend to it."

[Shiba Naomi]

"Oh, by all means," she said as a matter-of-factly. Why should she mind. "Shiba Naomi. A pleasure."

"... I hope you're not going to wear the armor too much during the voyage? It looks like it didn't like the tumble into the sea earlier today..."

[Bayushi Kichirou]

"It did not. If I had access to better equipment....and someone more skilled at maintenance I would continue to wear it. As it stands now however this is the last time my armor will be above decks until we make landfall I think." The Scorpion says a bit forlornly as he sits and begins to set about loosening the straps enough to get in and clean the pieces out.

[Yasuki Himiko]

Himiko held her hands out, feeling the air between her fingers and on her face. Even without going too high or too far, she certainly enjoyed herself. "Thanks, Isawa-san!" She yelled those words repeatedly, loud enough that, if not for how high up she was, might have started waking people up below deck.

[Isawa Junpei]

"My pleasure," he inclined his head. "I am a priest of the kami, it is my duty to open the lives of samurai to their glories. Well, perhaps not exactly but it sounds good, neh? In truth shugenja are a far more cloistered bunch, delving into the secret formula of the world. That our miracle-working can bring alleviation and joy is often overlooked."

He whirled around in a slow turn, which his garment circling after him, his eyes following Himiko as she perambulated around him in a wide circle.

[Shiba Naomi]

"It did not. If I had access to better equipment....and someone more skilled at maintenance I would continue to wear it. "It would be better not to wear it, to be honest, Bayushi-san. Even the experienced sailors prefer not to be weighed down by armor in case of the chance they be swept overboard." She was about to add 'we see how well it went for your cousin', but she thought better of it.

[Bayushi Kichirou]

"True." He offers as observation as he begins to scour away at the links in his armor, "Also I wager they don't want to be up all hours of the night after being tossed into the ocean."

[Yasuki Himiko]

Content to just let herself fly, she nodded in approval to the Isawa. He uses too many big words, but at least he's a nice guy.

[Isawa Junpei]

True to his word, though, the incantation could only last a few minutes, even with Junpei's mastery of the kaze-kami. After that, he settled her back down to the deck, the pressing breeze whirling for a second more as it joined with the sea air. Junpei drifted down beside her, giving a quick look to his clansmen chatting with the Bayushi.

[Yasuki Himiko]

Once set down, Himiko grinned a bit. "That was fun. I wonder if I can find a Kuni to persuade to learn that prayer so he can get me close enough to punch an Oni in teh face."

[Shiba Naomi]

Naomi gave a nod to Junpei and Himiko as the kaze-kami finished their fun with the Crab. "Perhaps some of the Kuni will share your interest in doing exactly that to the enemy, neh?"

[Isawa Junpei]

"I've never met one, but hearing legend I wouldn't be surprised," Junpei encouraged along with his kinsmen.
