One last bath. (Day 8 Early evening Open)

[Yoritomo Kaito]

"Heh." Kaito smirked at the ladies comment a bath like this on a ship would be a amusing thing after all. As she started to laugh though he opened an eye wondering if she was alright. "We'll we'll be stuck with teh baths in the hold or the rain that falls from the sky until we arrive at port. Which should be in two weeks or so depending on the wind and where the Captain wants to report."

[Mirumoto Tomoe]

"Yes, that's right. Make do, make do" I repeat, smiling more. I feel better now that my mood is uplifted. I let out a pleased sigh or two and just enjoy my last bit of time here

[Yoritomo Kaito]

"Being aboard a ship is almost always about making do." Replied Kaito easily his eye closing once again now that the woman had stopped her laughing. "Tell me Mirumoto-san, do you enjoy fishing?"

[Mirumoto Tomoe]

"I don't have much experience but I have been told it is relaxing and enjoyable. I think I would like it" I reply with an energetic nod. I remember trying it as a young girl in one of the rivers in the north. I hadn't been very successful but it was a good memory nonetheless. "And you?"

[Yoritomo Kaito]

What first started to sound like a invitation to a very enjoyable skiff ride quickly turned to something much more normal and it was with perhaps with a twinge of disappointment that Kaito answered. "Oh I like it a good deal a nice way to spend your afternoons. Perhaps when we get back aboard ship if our schedules line up we can take a skiff out together? Maybe I could teach ya a thing or two..."

[Mirumoto Tomoe]

"Yes please" Came the quick reply. "I think that would be an enjoyable change of pace". He was being very nice today. "Are you quite experienced?"

[Yoritomo Kaito]

Too easy... "I'm experienced in many things Mirumoto-san, some more then others of course." He replied with a small smile. "As for fishing I've been know as somewhat of a fisherman on some of the boats I've been on and it does seem that I am one of the more practiced on the Half Moon."

[Mirumoto Tomoe]

"Eto... of course" I reply, slightly puzzled but amused. Was that some kind of boast? It was quite vague. "You will make a good sensei then. Kaito-sensei it shall be" I add, with a small chuckle. I have forgotten about how I will get out of the bath at this point, drawn into the conversation as I am. "What's the biggest you have ever caught?"

[Yoritomo Kaito]

Oh a little taller then you and probably a bit bigger around as well. "Well by net the largest I ever caught was a shark... He was about eight feet long and a damn handful to haul in. He was tasty thought had more then one meal out of him."

[Mirumoto Tomoe]

"That is quite exciting. I still haven't tried shark. Does it taste good?" I asked innocently.

[Yoritomo Kaito]

"Oh it's quite tasty really you should really try it if you get the chance." His eyes opened up as he looked at the dragon tilting his head slightly to the side. "Have you chance to try many Mantis delicacies in the past?"

[Mirumoto Tomoe]

I tilted my head too on reflex, drawn into the man's thought train "hmm a few. Many of our Mantis hosts made an effort to prepare food that they thought would appeal to Dragon tastes but I quite liked the local cuisine when I tried it. It was a little unusual for me at first. Took some getting used to actually but it was rather satisfying". I smile at Kaito as I look upwards to think. "Mmm. Especially all the fish. It is a treat in the mountains". I start to hum to myself without realising it, thinking about actual tuna

Damn the woman for being actually innocent a nice 'wrestling match' in the gardens would be the perfect thing to end it's time here. As it was he figured if he tried to slide over closer to steal a kiss she would likely run away. Or slap him, which really wouldn't be too bad as long as she didn't try and skewer him after words. "Perhaps if we catch anything interesting I can try and recreate some of them for you then. Did you have chance to try any of our live dishes?"

[Mirumoto Tomoe]

"Oh, that would be wonderful" I reply earnestly, smiling away "yes please!". I think about the live meals for a split second and realise I haven't sampled many. I will take him up on the offer. "I would like to try some Mantis live dishes too. What do they taste like?". I am beaming by this time, in a rare good mood after the chaos of the last few days

[Yoritomo Kaito]

"They taste like different things really depending upon what you are making. Which in this case will most likely be Ikizukuri as I doubt we will have chance to fish for octopi. As for how it tastes it's a lot like sashimi only the freshest you will ever get it . Usually serve it up with some fresh lemon, pickles and rice it's a nice meal all things together though I am no expert in its preparation." He said casually enjoying the light conversation about food. It helped keep his mind off other things he wanted right now.

[Mirumoto Tomoe]

"Don't be so modest Kaito-san. You sound very knowledgeable! I would love to try something prepared by you" I said, continuing to smile. I stretched my arms in the water before adding "perhaps we could even fish together for the ingredients?" I continued to lightly hum a tune I vaguely remember from a Mantis court

[Yoritomo Kaito]

"That was the plan Tomoe-san." Kaito said with a grin. "The cook would skin me alive if I tried to take all of her stores to cook for a crew mate after all."

"Lets hope we get time for our little outing sooner rather then later right?"

[Mirumoto Tomoe]

"That would be nice but do not count on it - my luck has been terrible as of late!" I say, still smiling, even chuckling a bit. It is nice to make light of it but it actually has been terrible.

[Yoritomo Kaito]

"It can only stay bad for so long though Tomoe-san. Perhaps soon it will change for the better and if not you can always try to accompany me on my next offering to Suitengu-no-Kami." A offering to Suitengu that sounded innocent enough right?

[Mirumoto Tomoe]

"That may work. Okay Kaito-san". I continue to hum happily, running one arm down the other to feel my skin. It is nice and smooth again. How long will it stay that way after we leave here?
