[Day 8 - Mid-Morning] So that's why we have a Spare [Open]

[Usagi Zenko]

Zenko, a little sore yet, made his way to the trunk below his bunk, looking for the spare uniform they'd been given.

When he knelt before the trunk and opened it, he look at the uniform where it lay folded next to the clothing he wore when he was just a Hare.

Suddenly it seemed very overwhelming, and although a hand went towards the Imperial Legion uniform, it shook, as if he wasn't sure he deserved to wear it.

[Yoritomo Kaito]

At the sound of rabbit shifting through his trunk Kaito opened a single eye looking over to see who was already up at this hour. Stopped from raising by the weight of a pair of kittens on his chest he stifled a yawn as he greeted the rabbit.

"Morning Usagi-san."

[Usagi Zenko]

Zenko looked over. He still was a bit of a sight. "Morning, Yoritomo-sama." He was a bit gruff, one could suppose, as he turned back to the trunk, finally choosing to take out the Imperial Legion uniform. At least until we return. For them.

"How're the kittens?" he asks, searching for a topic of conversation.

[Yoritomo Kaito]

Kaito looked down at the pair on his chest sleeping soundly. "Asleep it seems, I was wondering if I should leave them that way or move em."

[Usagi Zenko]

"Suppose it depends on how capable you are at walking like that." He shakes his head, beginning the ritual of putting on the spare uniform...tricky business with his recent injuries and the need to work around the singed armor and tattered clothing.

[Yoritomo Kaito]

"Not well at all I reckon." He replied as he reached down to pet one of the pair. "You got that alright?" He asked as he saw the hare having trouble trying to dress.

[Kakita Sugita]

Time to change. Sugita hadn't slept here, but he does need to come back to prepare for the day. "Ohayo," he says passively.

[Usagi Zenko]

"Kakita-sama. Morning." he nods, and looks at the Yoritomo. "I'll get it, thanks though. Some burns and such. If I'd been a real rabbit, my fluffy tail would be all singed off."

[Yoritomo Kaito]

The mantis chuckled lightly at that as he nodded a greeting to the Kakita. "Morning."

[Kakita Sugita]

"If you were a real rabbit I'd pet you and call you fluffles." No idea what they were talking about. That much should be obvious. "At least Hares grow back, eh?"

[Usagi Zenko]

"Fluffles? I guess I better count my blessings then." he gives a false shudder, tying the dress uniform closed. "Hai, Isawa-gunso-sama healed the burns. Will be in my dress uniform for awhile though."

He nods to the Kakita. "Good to know you got out, Kakita-sama."

[Kakita Sugita]

"Thanks," he replies gruffly. Not the best of things to think about. "You too."

[Usagi Zenko]

The Hare nods. Then turns back to what he's doing, not really knowing what else to say at the moment.

[Kakita Sugita]

Sugita was going to say more, but a flash of pain through his head took all his attention away. He stares blankly, trying, and mostly failing, to not flinch.

[Usagi Zenko]

"You been to sick bay yet, Kakita-sama?" Zenko asked, tenatively, a little worried by the blank look.

[Kakita Sugita]

"Huh? Yeah.", is all Sugita can manage without clenching teeth

[Usagi Zenko]

"Ah...okay then." he looks about, then finishes dressing. "Don't know if I'll get to sleep quite so easily, without Cub's snores drowning out the ocean." he states somewhat lightheartedly, staring at the man's bunk.

[Kakita Sugita]

With some effort, Sugita attempts to join in the conversation. "I didn't know he snored. Sound too much like the ocean?" He plasters on a fake grin.

[Usagi Zenko]

"Possibly. Was always dark by then...I could be mistaken." he shakes his head, bending to rearrange his trunk.

[Yoritomo Kaito]

"I always thought it was Ram." Came Kaito's comment from his bunk. It seemed one of the kittens had woken up and was now intensely involved and cleaning Kaito's hand.
