[Aftdeck, Moon 9, Afternoon] Downpour - OPEN

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"In weather like this?" She shakes her head, and earns a face full of dark, wet hair. "Wouldn't they worry about going overboard? Even I'm not getting close to the railings!"

[Shiba Nozomi]

Pale eyes scan the deck, trying to make sure nobody was suffering the fate that was mentioned by the Iuchi. Instead, they alight upon the Captain on the far end of the ship... and he looks like he's having a grand time. A tiny smile hovers about Nozomi's lips.

"Captain-tono seems to be enjoying it..."

After watching the Unicorn struggle with her hair for about the fifth time, Nozomi pulls the hair band from her own and holds it out to her.

"Here."

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"I couldn't accept it!" Rizuki shouts, shaking her head and waving her arms in front of her. "What about your own hair?"

[Shiba Nozomi]

Nozomi shrugs and holds it out carefully again,"I have an-another below d-deck." And it's not like hair in her eyes really seemed to bother her anyway.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki shakes her head again. "What if I lose it overboard?"

[Shiba Nozomi]

The Shiba waves it at the Unicorn a little bit, trying not to sigh. "P-put it in your hair, and y-you won't."

She'd already almost dropped it once throughout what had oddly become a gift-giving ceremony and sincerely hoped the Iuchi would just accept already.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"Thank you!" she shouts, finally accepting the gift with a grin. She pushes back her hair and uses the hair band to tie it back in a crude ponytail. "You have my thanks, Shiba-sama!"

Rinzuki clasps her hands together and bows to the smaller woman.

[Shiba Nozomi]

The small girl waves away the thanks. She half wished she could ask the Unicorn to stop smiling all the time in return. For a clan to showing that much tooth was entirely unnatural.

The Lion did it... but only before they tried to remove your head from your shoulders...

Speaking of Lion... Nozomi glances over to him. "R-rope?"

[Yasuki Himiko]

Crabs naturally loved the water. It was practically in their name! At least, that was something that Himiko would insist to anyone who asked her. Dressed in her grey hakama, some darker colored chest wraps, and nothing else, she walks casually towards the aftdeck, grinning as if this domain was hers and hers alone. But wait... other samurai on the deck? This she had to see!

The young Yasuki strode over to the group, waving enthusiastically. "Iuchi-san! Samurai-samas! Good ta see ye!"

[Akodo Jishaku]

The Lion throws his head back and laughs loudly. "Gift-giving in a storm? Now I've seen everything." Spotting the Crab approach Jishaku offers a bow, seeming unaffected by the sway and tilt of the deck. "Good afternoon Crab-san. Fine day for a storm, neh?"

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki gives the Crab a quick bow before straightening up and flashing a grin at her. "Some storm, neh?" she shouts, the wind whipping her kimono this way and that.

[Shiba Nozomi]

The growing number of samurai on deck increases the Shiba's discomfort, but she doesn't fail to bow, even despite the winds. A quick lurch of the ship followed by the remnants of a wave inspire her to look around for something a mite more stable to brace herself on. A section of railing that divided the sections of the ship was conveniently nearby, and Nozomi makes her way over to it carefully, picking with consideration where she places her feet.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki somehow manages to stay standing as the wave hits the ship[/url], though her arms still shot out to either side to keep her balanced.

"Just like riding a...!"

Her sentence is unfortunately cut short as the wave hits the deck, splashing her with a wall of water almost as tall as she was. Rinzuki staggers back from the assault, eyes squeezed shut until the worst of it passes.

"...horse," she finishes, with a squirt of water from her mouth.

[Yasuki Himiko]

Himiko laughs as she works to maintain her balance as well, only having marginal difficulty maintaining her balance. "Wouldn't know anything about that, Iuchi-sama!" She said with a grin. "Certainly is a good way to cool off though, neh?"

She turned to the other two, bowing appropriately. "Fine day fer a storm indeed! Name's Yasuki Himiko, by the way. Pleasure tah make yer aquaintances."

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"I wasn't overly warm to start with," she laughs in response to Himiko's comment.
