[Day 6, Early Afternoon, Open] Taking a Dip

[Kakita Sugita]

"The witty, sexy, and fun part." Sugita glares. "You just wanted me to say it again didn't you?"

[Mirumoto Itsuho]

Itsuho raised her brows, then gave a small smile. "No, but that IS a pleasant side effect, isn't it?" She pinched Sugita's nose again with a quick pinch. "Besides, my mirror should be taller."

[Kakita Sugita]

Sugita wiggles and scrunches up his nose. Felt weird getting pinched. "I wasn't volunteering. I'm far from shiny enough."

[Mirumoto Itsuho]

"That is why we are in the water Sugita-san. The water can be quite reflective, can't it?" She smiled a little.

[Kakita Sugita]

"Certainly more than me. You are tall." He adds quickly. His eyes had taken another measure. Not that they hadn't before.

[Mirumoto Itsuho]

Itsuho actually gives a faint blush at this and looks away a little. "Hai, I suppose I am. I'm taller than a good number of men aboard the Half Moon, but I've always been that way, so it's nothing new."

[Kakita Sugita]

That's like an invitation to poke. "So you say you want one taller. Taller than you?"

[Mirumoto Itsuho]

Itsuho doesn't say anything a long moment, just looking away as she treads water. "I... don't really care about how tall a man is. It seems usually the other way around actually. I look for other things."

[Kakita Sugita]

"I like how you answer jabs so directly and seriously," he says with a laugh. "Did I say that already? Whatever. So many get up in arms about the littlest thing. A girl on one of my old ships hit me just about whenever I spoke to her. Then the Captain would get mad. 'Course, it was his daughter." Sigh. "Good times."

[Mirumoto Itsuho]

Itsuho gives a soft blush and looks away, taking the chance to float on her back once more so she doesn't need to look at the Kakita. "Sumimasen, I suppose I've always be serious and thoughtful like that. I haven't hit you yet at least though, have I Sugita-san?" She gives a small laugh at that actually, smiling faintly.

[Kakita Sugita]

"No. Thanks." I think. "I'm still not certain how to react to that." What does that mean for one. And getting hit was half the fun.

[Mirumoto Itsuho]

She floats there a moment. "... I have a strange suspicion as if you will give me plenty of cause to soon enough though Sugita-san." She gives a small smirk.

[Kakita Sugita]

"Reeeeally now...." He looks on suspiciously. It isn't that he doubts it. Just that he doesn't know how she could have specifics. Especially since she hasn't yet. "Why's that?"

[Mirumoto Itsuho]

Itsuho backstrokes over to the boat. She turns over and pulls herself from the water, laying back in the boat and letting the sun dry her slowly. "Perhaps you could call it experience. Or intuition. I don't have specific reasons."

[Kakita Sugita]

"Hm. I can't say you're wrong." Sugita swims to the side of the boat, where he dangles off the side. "So. How do you like simply going out for a swim? A good break?"

[Mirumoto Itsuho]

She sunned herself a moment, just soaking up the heat and loving the evaporation off her skin before she looked over. "Hai, I think I quite enjoy it. It most certainly beats swimming in a freezing Dragon lake. A girl could grow used to this."

[Kakita Sugita]

"I'm glad." That's all he has to say about that. Sugita decides to join the sunbathing. He climbs up himself and sprawls alongside. The sky takes his attention in silence.

[Mirumoto Itsuho]

Itsuho lays there a long moment before she feels sufficently dry. She grabs her kimono to slip it on. On a whim, she leans over the sun bathing Sugita and gives him a peck on the chin before slipping the kimono on and rowing the boat back towards the ship.

[Kakita Sugita]

Sugita opens one eye and smirks before returning to his lounging. Until Itsuho starts to row. Then he sits up out of the way and dresses himself. Only one set of oars and she seems content.

"Off for more grand adventure..."

[Mirumoto Itsuho]

Itsuho says nothing in reply, but her soft smile says all she needs to. She rows them steadily back to the ship.
