Kaito shrugged slightly at that he knew a little about trading in the Rokugani market but these were likely completely different. "I know you said you were looking to trade something you have for something in the market but you know you likely wont need to Toritaka-san."

There were a generous selection of fruits and vegetables, some of them familiar but most of them not. There were dried legumes, grains and beans, spices and clear glass bottles of dried herbs. It was easy to tell what their value was in relation to the Rokugani market, but without a working understanding of the Kingdom's agricultural profile it was impossible to know what their value would be. Simple put, it cost money. How much in koku? Who knows with the exchange rate skewed all to Jigoku with the threat of war and the influx of refugees?

Chibi, however, was cheerfully marching alongside the two men, little arms swinging as she kept pace easily thanks to the crush of people doing their shopping before lunch.

"Chibi-san, do you know what is cheap here and grown locally?"

Unsurprisingly, the girl points at the dried legumes and beans.

Kaito scratched his chin thoughtfully as he looked at the beans. "Can't say I know many recipes that involve those Toritaka-san, though I figure I might be able to learn a few from cook."

[Toritaka Punchiru]

"I guess we should inquire with him, and if such are edible with fish then we should procure them"

[Yoritomo Kaito]

"Might be best Toritaka-san." Replied Kaito with a nod. "Could still get some of the others while we are here though and maybe some rice if they have."
