Sorry, Kai-chan...(Day 6, Late AM)

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Fuichi nodded once. "Hai, the interruption last time was most unsha..unsastish..." a frown. "Bad."

[Isawa O-Washi]

"That's right...I owe you a recipe, don't I..."

O-washi considered it, then chuckled. "Nope, can't remember how it goes. Too much sake. Happily, don't need to make it up, there's suitable substitutes about."

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Fuichi blushed again. It was his only defense.

"That's good news. I was...ah...a little concerned."

[Isawa O-Washi]

O-washi only chortled harder as he sipped from what would be his last cup. "Told you...don't fancy injuries in the bedroom, mine or anyone else's. Not exactly conducive to good fun or repeat performances, neh?"

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Fuichi smiled. Repeat performances sounded nice. Then, lazily, he craned upwards to place a shy kiss on O-Washi's lips.

[Isawa O-Washi]

Pity the poor other gents in the room, 'cause the big Gunso was far too drunk to care about what they might think of the display, more than happy to reciprocate his crewmate's affections.

Sugita, at least, was a Crane. He should be used to this sort of thing by now...right?

[Kakita Sugita]

Pffff. Noooo. But. THIS. IS. HILARIOUS. "Bwahahahaha -cough- haha! -cough- That's, ahahahaha!!" Sugita's head goes into his arms folded onto the table. Can't stop laughing. "You... You guys are too much! HAHA!"

[Isawa O-Washi]

That brought O-washi up for air, bemused but starting to grin from sheer proximity. He looked down at himself, then over at Fuichi, then back at the hysterical Kakita. "What? Not that odd a pairing, is it?"

[Agasha Qian-Fan]

There was a thunk from the side.

Qian-Fan had dropped his tea cup and was staring in shock.

[Kakita Sugita]

"Oh, nono. Such a cute couple. I bet even Moshi-gunso would melt! ... HAHAHA!"

Sugita turns to the other Phoenix. "Oh! Oh! I think you broke your Clan mate! I could try the ol' 'make it worse to make it better' trick. Kinda jealous of Daidoji-san getting hisself a Phoenix anyway."

[Isawa O-Washi]

A man of O-washi's size and bass register was incapable of giggling. Despite this, the site of poor Qian-Fan's face made him try. "I think he might just faint if you tried, Kakita-san, and we can't have that."

To his kin, he said, shamelessly, "See? You shoulda had the sake...then you'd be blushin' at worst."

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Fuichi just rested his head on the gunso's shoulder. The world spun less when he did that, anyway.

[Agasha Qian-Fan]

Now O-Washi had mentioned it . . . the blush came anyway. Still staring at the three he groped with one hand to set the fallen cup upright.

"I should find a servant to clean you up . . . . clean that up. Yes . . . errr . . . I'll just go find one. Have to be somewhere else soon anyway and . . . "

He stood, still blushing furiously, almost tripped over his own robes, bowed half heartedly and fled the scene at quite some speed.

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Fuichi blinked and frowned. "I hope I did not give offense. Isawa-sama is just too cute."

[Isawa O-Washi]

"You did him a service. Now he'll be blushin' over us for the next few candlemarks instead of worryin' his head over what's out of anyone's control anyway. We should probably get movin' elsewhere, though...polite thing to do and all that, though it's a shame to deprive Kakita-san here of his amusement, I believe he's got himself a date to get to, mm?"

This last was directed at Sugita even as O-washi, careful not to topple over Fuichi (yet), got to his feet. He wasn't steady, exactly, but he was a big man and well used to this sort of drinking. Looking down at the other Crane, he grinned and offered his hand."C'mon, then, it you're able to stand. If you're so gone you can't, well then, we'll just have to put it off 'cause that's perilously close to 'too far gone to think clearly' for my comfort."

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Fuichi smirked. "I may be waifish, but I am still Daidoji." He rose, if somewhat unsteadily, and slipped his hand into O-Washi's. "I am forged of Iron. The Crab told me so."

[Kakita Sugita]

"I'd best go sober up. Running. Dunk in cold water. Yeah." Jellied limbs pull Sugita to his feet, and he leaves, forgetting any other pleasantries in narrowed thoughts and vision.

[Isawa O-Washi]

"That's a story for later, I'm guessin'. Enjoyin' our shore leave while it lasts is for now!"

Whistling a tune that, when sung, was known to make even Hida blush, the big Phoenix slung an arm over the shorter man's and sauntered down the hall towards the room he'd claimed for himself while they were here. He stopped, briefly, to collect some useful things from the kitchens, then ushered Fuichi inside, closing the door with finality after.
