He found himself explaining for the second time that day.

"Daidoji-san, it is his right and I gave him over to their guards. Jayant is member of the Ivory Kingdom and subject to their laws. I have absolutely no interest in meddling with their governance, nor does the Empire," Uminushi runs a hand through his hair, "We are safe enough as long as no one does anything stupid to compromise our position or break their laws."

Seeing that she wasn't interrupting any of her betters now, and she had found her notes in her journal, Naomi spoke up.
"Uhm, Captain, I believe I have something that might be of some interest..."

She seemed... uneasy, but not perhaps only from uncertainity of wether or not her information was any viable.
