[Day 4, Streets, Afternoon] So, A Lion and a Unicorn...

[Shinjo Qulan]

"Oh?" Qulan looked towards Hikaru curiously.

[Ikoma Hikaru]

"That surprises you? I am of the Lion nobility, more specificity the Ikoma. It is our duty to know the history of the empire." Hikaru replies.

And that of its enemies.....

[Shinjo Qulan]

"Oh! Oh, yes." Qulan nodded.

[Ikoma Hikaru]

Hikaru raises an eyebrow and says

"Hmm well we ARE the courtiers of my clan. So really knowing the basics of the other clans histories shouldnt come as a surprise."

[Shinjo Qulan]

"Hai, I know, Ikoma-sama." Qulan replied with a small smile.

[Ikoma Hikaru]

Hikaru frowns slightly to himself

Well she is much better than that harlot of an Iuchi.....but she seems......off as well....


"Well it does not look as if I am going to find the item I have been looking for. Perhaps I will try that inside market tomorrow."

[Shinjo Qulan]

Qulan looked around. "What were you looking for, Ikoma-sama? Maybe I'll keep an eye out for it tomorrow just in case."

[Ikoma Hikaru]

"I am looking for a bow. Hopefully one around the size of a yumi. I decided I am going to take up archery." Hikaru says with a nod and a slightly annoyed look on his face. The Ikoma was used to having what ever he wanted when he wanted it. Looking for something and not finding it was a new concept to him.

[Shinjo Qulan]

"Hmmm... I don't think I've seen any." The Shinjo continued to scan the area. "I wonder if their bows are any different from ours?"

[elonweis]

Their guide, by then, wasn't listening. He spent his time scanning the surrounding area and doing his best to see that they weren't killed or robbed or otherwise had unpleasant things done to them.

[Ikoma Hikaru]

"I do not know." He replies. "I suppose I could inquire at the embassy. I doubt they would say no." He adds with a scratch of his chin.

[Shinjo Qulan]

"Would you like me to lead you back, Ikoma-sama?" She offered, hoping to be at least somewhat helpful.

[Ikoma Hikaru]

"If you would like." Hikaru replies with a slight sigh.


Honestly he could care less, however it would be good to look like he was following orders.

[Shinjo Qulan]

"Alright!" Qulan turned around, waiting for Hikaru to follow suit. "Shall I lead or you, Ikoma-sama?"

That, at least, caught Musoso's attention. The man scowls, not that he wasn't to begin with, but the idea of letting these two newcomers lead the way back to the embassy or whereever it was they thought they were going rankled. And there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it.

[Ikoma Hikaru]

"By all means Shinjo-san, you take the lead." Hikaru replies coolly.

[Shinjo Qulan]

Qulan led the way back to the embassy, making sure not to get too far ahead of the Ikoma.
