[Moon 7, Evening, Sick Bay] Drunken Crab

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Iuchi Rinzuki leads Himiko to the sick bay, her hand finding its way onto the small of the Crab's back as she escorts her into the small room. "Just have a seat on the, uh..." She waves her hand towards the operating table and half-stumbles over to the medical supplies.

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Eh... right..." she muttered lightly, sliding up to the noted seat with no real enthusiasm or grace.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"Just make yourself comfortable," Rinzuki mumbles as she kneels down and starts digging through the supplies. "May take a minute here...haven't gone through these yet..."

[Yasuki Himiko]

She makes herself comfortable by loosening the chest wraps just a tad. One of the wraps slips off her shoulder, revealing even more skin on the already ill dressed crab woman. She then looks up, apparently trying to stop the room from spinning. "Ugh... 4 cups of sake per bowl...?"

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"It was a pretty big bowl," Rinzuki giggles. "We'll have to find you a wooden cup next time. They're much harder to shatter when you get excited."

She places a few dried out slices of orange fruit on the ground next to her, and pushes the crate back into it's secured area. Or at least, that was the plan, but the sake seems to have hampered her hand-eye coordination, so instead she just shoves the box awkardly into the hole a few times, with increasing annoyance as one of the corners continues to catch against the side.

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Meh... cups are fer sissies..." She coughs a couple of times before returning to her amazement at the ceiling. Certainly she didn't seem to notice Rinzuki's difficulties.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"...come back to you," Rinzuki mumbles, giving the crate an angry look as she gathers up the bits of dried fruit and pulls herself up to her feet.

"What's that about cups?" she asks as she turns back to Himiko. She crosses the distance between then in a few steps, and places a hand on the table to steady herself.

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Sissies. Cups are fer sissies." She snorts loudly, then finds herself laying back, enjoying the view of the ceiling. Good thing there's not a man here. This'd almost be a compromising position then.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"Maybe, but sissies don't end up with shards of ceramic cups burried in their skin halfway up to their elbow."

Rinzuki looks down at the other woman in mild amusement.

"But it's okay to just lie down whenever you feel like it?"

There was a distinct teasing tone to her voice.

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Meh, eff you, I'm drunk." There was no accompanying teasing voice. "'sides, shards of ceramic buried in the skin build character."

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

There was an amused eyeroll from the shugenja.

"Here," she says, holding out one of the dried fruit slices. "This will help relieve the fire in your system. I'm going to call upon the kami for some fresh water, just as soon as I find something to put it in."

[Yasuki Himiko]

Himiko grabs the fruit and plops it straight in her mouth, chewing on it silently.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki goes back to scavenging among the medical supplies, and soon returns to the table with a decent-sized bucket. "Hold this," she says, handing it to Himiko. "I'll summon some water into it for the both of us."

[Yasuki Himiko]

Himiko grabs the bucket as indicated, still intently chewing on the fruit. She closes her eyes, obviously preparing for the inevitability of being splashed.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki closes her eyes and mutters a brief prayer to the kami, causing the bucket to fill with cool water. There was less splashing than was probably expected, at least.

"There," she says, a pleased smile appearing on her lips as she pushes some unseed strands of hair back behind her ear. "Drunken problem, solved!"

[Yasuki Himiko]

Himiko nodded lightly, shaking her head quickly to get what water did hit her off her face. "Good..." she muttered, "Got cups in here?"

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"Cups are for sissies," Rinzuki points out with no small amount of glee.

[Yasuki Himiko]

At that, Himiko takes a very light jab at Rinzuki's arm. "Everyone's a critic," she mutters before dipping her head into the bucket and taking several long gulps, finally throwing her head up with a start, almost certainly splashing Rinzuki intentionally as she does.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

There is a sharp intake of breath as the water strikes Rinzuki, and she takes an involuntary step backwards from the Crab, only to trip backwards and fall to the floor on her bottom.

"Gah~!"

[Yasuki Himiko]

Himiko takes a moment to register what happened to Rinzuki. Then she held a hand to her face to stifle a giggle. When that wasn't working, she slapped a knee as she laugh just a bit louder. And then she held her side as she fell over herself, finding the situation just absolutely hilarious.
