Collecting Dues (Day 3, night)

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Alright, now..." she begins explaining the basic process of the throw. Perhaps because she is a Crab, or perhaps in understanding of the Iuchi's lack of knowledge on the subject, she speaks slowly and succinctly, and demonstrates the throw without putting a lot of force on the Iuchi.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki listens carefully, her head nodding up and down from time to time.

[Yasuki Himiko]

After the explanations are through, she nods. "Ready to give it a try?"

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki backs up, then steps forward, grabbing onto Himiko's wrist as her other wraps around her chest wraps and pulls.

[Yasuki Himiko]

Himiko had fairly good balance, but being a good Uke today meant that she would give some token effort, but allow herself to be pulled off balance. "Good," she said. "Not a bad way te start."

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"That's not too difficult." She reaches up to brush a few invisible strands of hair behind her ear. "I'm not sure how useful it will be, but I appreciate the lesson."

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Easy te learn, difficult to master," she said calmly, not really sure what Rinzuki was trying to accomplish with the hair thing. "Ready to move on to some ground work?"

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"I suppose," she answers with a soft sigh.

[Yasuki Himiko]

Himiko nods. "Good. Get on yer back."

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki raises an eyebrow as she gives Himiko an appraising glance. "Isn't it customary to be on a first name basis before we take that step? Or at the very least, someplace a bit more private?"

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Relax, Iuchi-san. It's just part of the trainin'." Himiko's deadpan voice and raised eyebrow suggested that she took no humor in the Iuchi's comment.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

With a sigh, Rinzuki does as she's asked.

[Yasuki Himiko]

Once Rinzuki is on the ground, Himiko gets on her knees, sitting by her right side. "Alright, so what I'm going to do is show you some holds that are designed to keep someone down without actually hurting them... too badly. I'll be gentle, of course, so ye don't break a nail." The grin on her face showed a clearly sadistic sense of amusement before she got on top of Rinzuki. "Alright, so this first one ins called..." and she was off, slowly showing Rinzuki the different moves and explaining them as she did. And hey, she was even gentle...ish...
