[Day 1, Early evening Open] Stars

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"He did?" Iuchi could stifle his chuckle. "Now, while the things are readily available on a ship, I do not think that Moshi-gunso would appreciate us breaking them..."

"I think your simple pleasures differ at least a little from his." he added, bashfully.

[Tsuruchi Kiyo]

"What could be simpler than a cup of sake with the ocean breeze on your skin while the sun sinks behind the horizon?"

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Erm... I am sure you can guess." he stuttered, realizing he had plundered.

[Tsuruchi Kiyo]

"Oh ... of course," she laughs brighly, "I grew up among sailors remember? I do know what 'simple' pleasures men love to brag about."

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Yup." he replied, glad that the darkness hid his blush. "Exactly."

[Tsuruchi Kiyo]

Her grin widens, mainland samurai could be so delicate. She swirls the sake and finishes her cup, "And what sort of pleasures does Iuchi-san enjoy?"

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Many." he chuckled back to her. "Fine sake, tasty foods, good conversation and... the same thing most men enjoy, I guess..."

"So, what else does does Tsuruchi-san enjoy, other than her sake, and the wind in her hair."

[Tsuruchi Kiyo]

"Simples pleasures," Kiyo laughs and her cup disappears into one of her pockets, "Well I can help you with the first and maybe the third, the second can be gotten by getting cook some fresh ingredients but I think the fourth will be hard to come by on a ship."

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Yeah, well... such is a life on a ship." he chuckled. "Luckily, I can fish, so all I need is a good cook, really."

And I know one, maybe.

[Tsuruchi Kiyo]

"I got my rod stowed away in the hold, so let me know if you find one. Just be sure to catch something if you take a skiff out to fish with someone else, people get the weirdest ideas if you don't."

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"I have mine with me as well." he nodded. "Well, not up here but sure. Sounds good to me." he nodded to her. "All this dried fish makes me to wish for something more... fresh."

"Yeah, I have heard..." he blushed. "Caught some smelts the last time I went fishing, no problems there."

[Tsuruchi Kiyo]

"A few days ago one of the Scorpion was already grumbling about dried fish and the vegetables aren't looking too fresh anymore either," she leans back a bit, "Smelts sound good, I'm up for a fishing trip next time you go out. If I'm not on duty anyway."

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Hmm, let's see if we can come up with something, then." he nodded. "Can't blame the Scorpion either."

[Tsuruchi Kiyo]

"I guess not no," she agrees and checks if the cork on her sake bottle is secure before tucking it back into her pocket, "So how are your signals?"

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Hmm, maybe day after tomorrow, a bit before the dawn when the fish as feeding near the surface? We should be able to catch some if we just lay the nets properly." he suggested, already dreaming of the fresh fish.

"I can bring some spices, if you want to eat some of them raw.".

[Tsuruchi Kiyo]

"Bright and early catches the fishes off- guard, almost sounds like something Akodo-kami said neh?" she grins, "The day after tomorrow, and spices might be nice. With some luck we'll catch a tuna and I'll want a taste of that before we bring it."

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Tuna would be nice." the man agreed with her. "Not really sure what kind of wish we can catch here... but at least I should be able to tell where we should fish."

[Tsuruchi Kiyo]

"That will be useful. I usually just cast my line and hope something takes the bait," she shrugs, "This far from the shore there's always a chance we attract some of the bigger fish."

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Well, that's what I do when I do not need to catch fish." he chuckled. "The wait is part of the fun, after all."

[Tsuruchi Kiyo]

"Hai, let the Dragon meditate on their mountains, I'll go fishing instead," she grins.
