[Day 2, Early Morning] Assessment

[Bayushi Usan]

Bayushi Usan quickly hurried to the armory, suppressing the urge to mutter to himself. He barely had time to grab a quick snack and a refill of his bottle of water before his shift was due to begin. With his 'breakfast' over and done with, he quickly straightened out his uniform before he entered the armory.

He looked over the armory carefully, then strode over to the equipment. The problem with any ship was that it was rather difficult to pass notes; anyone could notice, even in the armory. So the question remains, do we want to set up a system so they can't find our notes? Or do we want to set up a system for notes we want them to find?, he pondered.

[Rixy]

The ship's armory contained a fair number of training weapons but, mostly, seemed designed to cater to the needs of bushi as they maintained their gear against the depridations of sea and salt.

[Bayushi Kichirou]

Scratching at the door frame to the Armory Kichirou bows in greeting to the other Scorpion, "Cousin, I thought I might pay you a visit early before you had gotten too engrossed in your work." he offers with a grin as he moves into the room proper.

[Bayushi Usan]

Usan nodded to his clanmate, "Good morning Bayushi-san." He bowed before stepping aside so Kichirou could look at the supplies. "How are you this morning?"

[Bayushi Kichirou]

"So far I am fantastic cousin. Though the day is early." Kichirou offers with a smile as he moves into the Armory and looks over the tools. Tools both he and Usan would be using, "Do you know yet if anyone else uses the bowyer's tools?" he asks absently as he inspects the toolkit more closely.

[Bayushi Usan]

"I haven't had a chance to get to know the crew, but I would suppose some of the archers would dip into the stocks here to at least preserve their weapons."

[Bayushi Kichirou]

"An understandable assumption." Kichirou says as he looks through the tools, "I still find it a happy kind of symmetry that we both are posted to this duty."
