Whistle While You Work [Day 1, Mid-Afternoon]

[Moshi Chihiroko]

After the heated yelling stops and the two exchange words at a reasonable level, the priestess puts her kiseru back up to her mouth. With a few drags and the scent of strawberry, her nerves re-calm. She respectfully bows to the Moshi and thanks her quietly, "Much appreciated, Moshi-sama."

She returns the bow and offers a small smile. "Likewise, Asahina-san." Her eyes fall on the kiseru. "Might I inquire as to what it is you're smoking?"

[Asahina Narumi]

"Ahh, yes," she says, holding up the tobacco so tobacco is visible and the smoke curling off of it is easily accessible to the Moshi. "It is strawberry flavored tobacco. Granted it's not as strong tasting and it's mixed with the smokey flavor of tobacco."

The tobaco itself, which is barely visible beneath that which is already burned, has a red tint to it.

[Moshi Chihiroko]

Chihiroko inhaled the scent deeply. "I think I've had something similar before." She pulled out her own kiseru. "Not my usual blend though and it's been a while. Do you have any other preferred tobaccos?"

[Asahina Narumi]

"Oh, I've got melon, mint and some standard tobacco," Narumi replies.

"Perhaps we could exchange a bit?" the priestess offers.

[Moshi Chihiroko]

"Really? You wouldn't mind?" She tilted her head curiously. "I'd love to. Maybe you'll have something I've not had before."

[Asahina Narumi]

"I wouldn't mind at all. I only have the strawberry on me now though," she replies. She then leans in slightly but not too closely to be indecent and says quietly. "In truth, I brought enough for me to smoke everyday for more than a month."

[Moshi Chihiroko]

Chihiroko covered her mouth with her hand and giggled with a knowing nod. "You and me, both."

After composing herself, she backed up a bit. "Maybe tomorrow morning after breakfast we could see to exchanging some tobacco?"

[Asahina Narumi]

"I'll be on duty then in Sick Bay. I'll bring my stash there and you can stop by," she replies.

[Shiba Naomi]

The loud exchange between Crane and Scorpion had put the little Shiba on alert. Not that many people looked down that far to see it though.

As their conversation turned slightly more normal, she relaxed and nodded approvingly.
Phew... that looked bad for a moment. I really hope Moshi-sama didn't see that. For their sake.

[Bayushi Nobuyoshi]

Oh, right, the bowing thing. Sugita does that. Late. After remembering. "More th'n likely. I'll look forward ta it."

A Kakita would offer a challenge over such an insult. Being a Bayushi instead of a Kakita, Nobuyoshi acts as a Scorpion would: Remember and Divert.

"Have you met Shiba Naomi-san yet, Kakita-san?" Nobuyoshi asks while indicating the diminutive Phoenix with a subtle motion of the head.

[Kakita Sugita]

"Only a minute ago. Hello," Sugita says witha smile. "I'm Kakita Sugita."

[Shiba Naomi]

"Yes, I know. You told me so not very long ago," Naomi pointed out, with only a small hint of sarcasm in her voice. It lost its touch because of her otherwise smiling features.

[Kakita Sugita]

Sugita gives a quick wink to the Shiba who he was very aware he had gone through introductions with. "You see?" He asks as he looks to the Bayushi grinning. "Not so very long ago."

[Moshi Chihiroko]

"I'll be on duty then in Sick Bay. I'll bring my stash there and you can stop by," she replies.

"Certainly. I'll be more than happy to stop by. Are there any particular kinds you'd prefer?" Chihiroko looked out over the water and smiled.

[Asahina Narumi]

"I've only had the varieties available near my temple, so it is likely than anything you might have will be new for me," she replies, cheerfully.

[Bayushi Nobuyoshi]

"And you left her side to check on me Kakita-san?" Nobuyoshi asks. "I'm flattered. It's a shame, though, she's much more interesting to talk to than me."

[Kakita Sugita]

"And she's cute too. Now you've got me wondering if I've gone insane as well as deaf." Sugita practically throws the ammunition at the Bayushi. Let's see what he does with it.

[Bayushi Nobuyoshi]

"You know, Kakita-san, as a friendly warning, you might not want to joke about having gone insane after having traveled that particular patch of sea we just did, within the hearing of Yasuki-san over there." Nobuyoshi suggests while indicating the Yasuki.

"As you were in the other training group, you didn't get to watch how skilled she is in the art of jiujutsu. I've HEARD of Crabs beating sense into Cranes, and while sense is a wonderful thing to have, I doubt such a procedure will be entirely pleasant." Nobuyoshi cautions.

[Yasuki Himiko]

Himiko cut off her whistling for a moment to look at the two. "Huh. One o' you must be insane if ye think yer gonna get away without gettin' some damn moppin' done. I'd hate te have te test out the chokes I learned just before comin' here on crew members."

[Kakita Sugita]

"Fierce indeed. Time to work again. We'll play more later, Bayushi-san." Sugita continues to chide. Then he laughs his way over to a mop.
