After 16 games, it was eventual that I earned this badge of 'honour' eventually I guess. Still shocked that it was Hoshi out of everyone, but L5R combat is reputed to be very deadly for a reason.

If dying didn't mean simply flailing about ineffectually from the beginning until being put out of my misery, then I think it would have been cool to do down gloriously. Unfortunately, as is the case with the past 3 combat-type CFS my characters have been in, I got crippled before the fight even started.

I think Musasha sadly. I still have hopes the Badger will make it off. Unless she decides to die gloriously with him. Hopefully not now that she is burdened with the Lion's weapons. You don't often see Badgers in games in my experience

If the Badger joins the ranks of the dead it'll likely be due to a failed agility/athletics roll. Normally something I'm good at but when its not based in Strength and I have no void left, not so much. We'll see how it goes though.

Not really...More of the case that Hoshi's personality type is not reckless in most ways and also that she was a Scorpion 'Heavy' bushi too. Combat in L5R is still dicey no matter how careful you are.
