"I walked down the streets with Ikoma-sama... That's about it." Qulan smiled once again. "We saw some children."

[Kakita Sugita]

"I imagine those happen everywhere. Heh. Haven't seen them yet. Don't feel like going out. Plan to be back on the ship for my shift."

"I'll probably go back for the night... I don't feel comfortable here." The Unicorn sunk deeper into the water, her head being the only thing visible.

"I'm not the only one then." Sugita grins. "What part of Rokugan did you call home before joining the Navy?"

"The village of Yashigi, not far from Shiro Shinjo." Qulan replied with a smile. "And you?"

[Kakita Sugita]

"Merchant marine. From Black Creek Watch originally, near Mura Sabishii Toshi."

"So you have sailed a lot, Kakita-sama?" The Shinjo asked quite curiously.

He nods. "Up and down the coast, acting as a guard on Crane merchant vessels."

"This... Was my first time on a ship." Qulan said bashfully. "It's interesting."

"As are many here, yeah. Unicorn on ships. Now that is interesting." He says with amazement.

"Well... I have done quite well, all things considering." She smiled. "Didn't even get seasick."

"Some are just more naturally attuned to the rolling of waves?"

"Don't worry. I won't hop over there right now and smell you." Sugita adds chuckling. "The bath has already washed the perfume away. I'll have to wait." Was he serious? Maybe...
