[Day 2, Midafternoon] Survivors...?

[Bayushi Usan]

Usan looked up to the two women in the ship, "We would appreciate your assistance." It would probably be easier for them to pull him onto the boat then for the samurai in the water to push the sailor up onto the skiff.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki assists with pulling the unconscious gaijin into the skiff.

[Yoritomo Kaito]

The gaijin on the boat Kaito tosses the rope in after him and then pushes the flotsam away before climbing back in himself. He was obviously soaked to the bone but didn't really seem to mind. "You want to take a look at him Iuchi-san?"

[Bayushi Usan]

Once the gaijin and Kaito were safely in the boat, Usan then crawled back into the skiff. He promptly put tied his mask back on, then began to untie his rope and rewound it back into a coil as the Iuchi looked over the foreigner.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki nods and gives the gaijin a quick once-over, checking for injuries, broken bones, hidden tentacles, and so on.

Alas, there were no hidden tentacles. Not unexpectedly, there were abrasions at all the contact points where rope had rubbed flesh raw. He was sunburnt and the wounds across his back were oozing unpleasantly. Dehydration had cracked his lips and fresh blood welled sluggishly to the surface.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"He'll survive, but we should take him back to the ship and find someplace where he can rest." She sits up and runs a hand through her hair. "Just not the sick bay, because we've had a couple threads there, and it'd be really odd to retconn those to include a recovering gaijin."

[Yoritomo Kaito]

(("oh but he is there already Iuchi-san." Replies the cackling voice from the sky))

"Alright then Iuchi-san." The mantis replies before moving to change course to get the skiff back to the ship.

[Volsung]

The skiff quickly left the debris behind, maneuvering easily around the pieces and were not bothered by any sea creatures neither normal nor giant monstrous creatures better meant to never be seen by the eyes of man.
