Rolling Dice

We realize that Invisible Castle is not a perfect dice roller, but right now it's all we have to work with and that's what we're going to use when and if you need to make dice rolls. There are a few bugs in the system that can be used to fudge rolls. We know them. Using them will get you an auto-ban.

That said, we know most of you and doubt that will happen.

Invisible Castle Tutorial
Invisible Castle works on a fairly straightforward equation system with some variables to modify the roll, like so:
7d10.takeHighest(3).open(10)+7

  • 7d10 - this is the total of skill/trait that you're rolling for
  • takeHighest(3) - this is the number of dice you're keeping
  • open(10) - this rerolls 10s
  • +7 - this is any additional flat bonus you get from techs or skills
Translated, this means you're rolling 7k3+7. Simple, yes? :)

NOTE: Emphasis allows you to reroll 1's. You can either leave out .takeHighest(x) from your formula and note how many dice you keep and that you have an emphasis for the skill you're rolling OR you can add .minroll(2) to the formula.

How to Cheat
... so you don't do it.

Invisible Castle, for whatever reason, is slow as all dickens. If your roll doesn't go through immediately, don't click the submit button repeatedly or F5 to refresh the page. This will submit multiple incidences of the same roll and will make us go: *__*

Registered Accounts
We would prefer that you register an account with Invisible Castle (it's free!). Registering an account allows you to add notes to your rolls so we know what exactly you're trying to do. Of course, you are not required to, but it will help us streamline this process.
