(Moon 14 Morning Sick Bay Open!) Ocean Avoidance!

It was almost becoming too much for the Agasha. He'd barely slept with the waves groaning and moaning outside. The practical absence of Fire kami to chatter away about burning things was starting to gnaw at him as well. He needed something to take his mind off things for a while and the sick bay was his choice. Fewer people and no windows, although that didn't stop the Water kami's tortured voices from still being audible to him.
He stepped in and started immediately to examine every cupboard, mentally cataloguing what was in each to pass the time.

Book in one hand and kiseru in the other, Chihiroko had departed the foredeck and made her way toward the sick bay. She figured she could see what was going around here too. Who knew who she'd meet down here?
Seeing the Agasha already present, she offered a bow and kinda started poking around behind him. I wonder if he's looking for something specific.

Seing another crew member enter, Qian-Fan paused briefly in his actions to turn and offer a proper bow. Which didn't feel proper at all in the legion issued clothing. He was never going to get used to wearing this little in public. With a tinge of embarrassment on his face he turned back to the cabinets to hide it.

"Uh... excuse me Agasha-san, but, are you looking for something in particular?" Chihiroko paused momentarily to tuck her book under her arm and glance in the direction of the Phoenix.

"No, not in particular. Just memorising the locations of all the supplies. Won't always have time to search for something. Better to find them now when all is . . . calm."
He didn't particularly think of things as calm right now, but at least they didn't have a sick bay full of patients.

Fuichi certainly didn't feel very well this morning. For one, he had no idea how he had gotten to his bed from the Crow's Nest. For another, he had been wearing a rather strange necklace when he awoke. Finally, he had an enormous headache. At least here the voices were...
Oh wait. Yeah. The voices. Fuichi's entrance to the sickbay is in the middle of a full-body shudder. His sunken-eyed, drained bow to the other priests is haphazard at best.
"Greetings, honored ship...mates? Shipcompanions and Shipfriends don't sound right, so that must be it. Sorry to interrupt. I am Daidoji Fuichi. I understand that this is where one goes to stop feeling awful?"

Qian-Fan's half embarrassed, half distracted air disappeared in a shot at someone genuinely in need of help. He eagerly crossed the room to the Crane and bowed politely.
"It is, Daidoji-san. I am Agasha Qian-Fan. If you could tell me where it hurts, or what the problem is then I will be happy to help you."
Eyes scanned the Crane for obvious injuries or visible symptoms of illness.

Fuichi managed a weak smile. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Agasha-san." A breath. "My head hurts rather terribly, and I seem to have had a blackout. The...the air wasn't very friendly last night."

"Please sit, Daidoji-san."
Qian-Fan motions towards the edge one of the high sided bunks.
"A black out you say? Did you fall from a height? Or knock your head on anything?"

He frowned.
"I...don't think so. Ah, I don't know if you've..." He shook his head once. "I was up in the Crow's Nest last night working on a statue of Isora when the wind started to talk to me. It wasn't...It wasn't very nice. In fact, it was rather horrid."
He paused, looking up at the Agasha and the Moshi. "You both have the gift, neh? Can't you hear them? The screaming is the worst part, but the whispers.." A protracted shuddering commenced. "They've got their own special charm."

Qian-Fan stopped fussing abruptly. He looked at the Moshi and then back at the Crane.
"I can hear every tortured groan of the Water kami as they move past the hull, Daidoji-san, but I am trying my best to ignore them and carry on regardless. You will understand that only mundane healing is available to me here. I dare not call on the Water kami when they are so afflicted. Even without our orders not to do so, I would not."
He realised he was fussing with the end of his braid again and shook his head before once again motioning towards the bunk.
"Please sit down, Daidoji-san. You might have injured yourself without realising it when you blacked out. I need to examine you before we can proceed any further."

Fuichi nods once and moves to sit. He tries to maintain the proper posture, but only succeeds in keeping his back straight. The Crane poise is very much gone.

Qian-Fan fusses about examining the Crane as carefully with as little actual contact as possible. He is eventually happy that the Daidoji has not fallen and brained himself at some point and suffering the after effects of that.
"Hmm no obvious wounds. The headache is probably caused by the area we are in. I can give you something for the pain, but little else than to advise to avoid the heights of the ship until we clear the Sea of Shadows."
With that he returns to the cabinets.
"Medicinal opium is a little over the top and he might wander right over the rail in a fugue. Willow bark extract is better. Now where was it?"
The Agasha probably doesn't even realise he's thinking aloud.

Fuichi gently cradles his palm in his hand. Idly, he wonders what happened to his statue, but a fresh lance of pain through his head puts troublesome thinking aside.
"I appreciate your assistance, Agasha-san, and I apologize again for disturbing your conversation with...Moshi-san." Talking makes a lot of noise, doesn't it? Let's stop that right now. His jaw snaps shut.

"Plenty of time for conversation after. The well being of the ship's crew is paramount. Aha!"
He reaches in to a cabinet and withdraws a small packet of dried bark powder.
"Here, Daidoji-san. Add this to a cup of tea and drink it all. It will be bitter and the tea will only mask some of the taste, but to be effective you must drink it all. Give it half an hour and it should start to work. If it does not then return here as quick as you are able. It shouldn't effect your movements or ability to function, but some find it upsets their stomach."
The packet is offered for the Crane to take, the Agasha hazarding a shy smile.

Fuichi accepted the packet with a matching smile of his own, permitting himself to look up into the Agasha's eyes. "Domo Arigato Gozaimasu."
He pronounced each syllable with reverence. "I think that I shall spend the next couple of days belowdecks. It would please me greatly if we could share a cup of tea in that time, Agasha-san."

"It would be a pleasure, Daidoji-san. Professional courtesy would have me calling on you anyway to make sure you were recovering, but tea would be a kind reminder of the niceties we have left behind on shore."
Unless the Moshi had them keelhauling the Scorpion for kicks that was.

Fuichi smiled, and then rose with a somewhat stiff bow. "I shall take up no more of your time, then. I look forward to our next meeting." He then turned to the Moshi. "And I look forward to meeting you more directly in the future. Farewell."
With that, he makes his /exit

Qian-Fan returned the bow and kept on smiling as he watched the Crane leave. Soon though, the tormented waves outside returned to his awareness. He hoped the Moshi wanted a conversation.

{{whoops... The things I miss when I'm afk...}}
Chihiroko bowed and remained largely out of the way while the scene took place before her. She didn't even correct the Crane when he addressed her incorrectly. Once he was gone, she returned her attentions to the Phoenix. "I apologize if I didn't step in to assist but it seemed you had things pretty well under control."
