With his pack slung over one shoulder Jishaku moved into the men's side of the Crew Quarters and carefully appraised the area.
Now then, which is the best spot? He moved around the empty hammocks, testing a few out before deciding on his favourite placement.

Qian-Fan was next into the crew quarters, dutifully following the Lion just as the stone faced harridan on deck had told him to.

"Ah, perfect." The Lion put both hands behind his head and rocked back and forth, testing the hammock. As the Agasha entered he looked over and gave a nod. "Greetings Phoenix-san. Plenty of room here." Assuming you are supposed to be on this side.
Leaning over he placed his pack beneath his hammock, next to where he had stowed his bow.

The nod was returned with a proper bow.
"Akodo-san, greetings. I am Agasha Qian-Fan."
The voice said he belonged this side, even if the overall body image did not. He picked out a bottom berth, fairly central in the quarters and began to stow his belongings in the chest below. They seemed to mainly consist of books and carefully wrapped bags of bandages and herbs.

"Akodo Jishaku, a pleasure I'm sure." The Lion sprang out of his hammock gracefully and gave the man, apparently, a proper bow. He then turned his attention to properly stowing his remaining gear.

A man enters rather quietly, considering he holds a giant armor case with one hand on his left, and parts the curtain with his empty right. He bows, "Which of these is mine?"

A swift appraisal nets the man a bow. "Any you care to choose that isn't taken Crab-san. A berth by the hull might provide more storage space. Akodo Jishaku, honoured." He pulls out a large bundle of arrows and swings back into his bunk before checking the fletching.

The man steps the rest of the way into the space, luckily, while oversized by Rokugani standards, he is quite small for a Hida. "Hida Musasha." Obviously as an afterthought, he adds, "Likewise."
Most of his bulk is the metal armor chest and his pack, which looks enough to crush a man. He sets both in an alcove, "I'll take this one." He pulls a tetsubo out of his pack and sets it on the bed. He leaves them both visible as he pulls a few coins out of his obi. "Should be enough here, yeah. I need to make a purchase or two this afternoon before lights out. You are both welcome to accompany me." His gravelly voice carries a bit, reverberating in the room, though he seems to be trying to be as quiet as possible.

Qian-Fan had bowed politely to the man mountain when he had entered and then continued to stow his belongings.
"My thanks for the offer, Hida-san, but I think I have all I need for now and i wish to inspect the sick bay before making any forays back to land."
A bright smile, perhaps just a little forced as the eyes remained as sad as they always had.

Jishaku continues checking his fletches as he replies. "I'll join you Hida-san. Might as well take a last look through the stalls before we sail." His eyes flick over to the Phoenix as he replaces the arrows in their quiver. "Are you a medic then Agasha-san? I hope not to see the inside of the sick bay but its good to know the Phoenix are here to keep us on our feet."

The burly Hida nods, "ran out of soap, and lost my whetstone on the road. Not looking to buy anything more, but I try not to spend a lot of time alone in non-Crab cities. We worry the locals if we linger about."

The Agasha nods to the Lion.
"Yes, Akodo-san. A healer and battle priest in one."
