[Moon 11, Morning - Aftdeck] GROUP B - Fashion 101 Take 2

[Ikoma Hikaru]

"Akodo-san, my hero." Hikaru says with a twitch of his lips as a wave hits him in the face again. " Ikoma Hikaru, cousin of Ikoma Haigo."

Hikaru grabs the rope and starts making his way back along it to the boat.

"I am glad you came for me. I was worried about accidentally drowned by some of our other........comrades."

[Yoritomo Choukichi]

Relieved that they know how to swim, Choukichi takes up the other end of the rope and prepares to pull them up once they are ready.

[Moshi Kaimenko]

Kaimenko watches the little vignette play out, making mental note of each new recruits actions and reactions. The smile, at least, had faded and left her expression distant and not a little cold as she waited for the two Lion to be hauled back aboard the Half Moon.

[Akodo Jishaku]

Moving through the water like a fish (Swim check 45) the Akodo seems equally at home in the sea as on deck. He easily secures his cousin with the rope (Sailing check 24). "Don't be worried cousin, you're in the navy now." Having swiftly completed the task he yells up. "READY!"

[Yoritomo Choukichi]

Choukichi barks back at the others, still not the least bit pleased by the situation.

"Grab hold quick and pull as I do."

Unwilling to let them stay in the water any longer than he must, he braces himself to begin pulling, waiting only for a few more to lend him some muscle.

[Yoritomo Kaito]

Kaito not one to shrink away from work grabs the rope with his cousin and begins to pull the man up trying to keep a steady rhythm to the pull to avoid jostling those secured to much.

[Ikoma Hikaru]

After a few moments Hikaru pulls himself over the side of the deck. He then turns around and helps pull Jishaku up.

[Asahina Masamichi]

The Crane puts his back into helping pull the Lions up.

[Moshi Kaimenko]

"Akodo-san, Choukichi-san, good response," if she took any notice of the Yoritomo's ire, it certainly didn't effect her mood or the brusque efficiency with which she dispensed their lessons. "If you ever see a man go overboard, get a rope to them as quickly as possible. If they don't know how to swim, someone who can needs to go in as well."

"Everyone will be going into the drink at least once today. Who all can't swim?" Kaimenko bends to heft the remaining ropes off the ground, moving along the railing to similar rings as she secures with the ropes with deft-handed knots.

[Akodo Jishaku]

Jishaku grabs onto the railing as he reaches the top and casually jumps down onto the deck, giving a nod to those who had assisted. He gives the gunso a light bow at the first signs of praise he had experienced from her and moved to stand beside Ikoma Hikaru.

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Can't say I can't ma'm. Though, even if I jump there, I won't be able to swim for a while. As I won't sink deep enough to be able to do that. A prayer contingency." Iuchi explained, somewhat embarrassed. "Thought it'd keep me from drowning."

[Shinjo Qulan]

Qulan doesn't say much of anything, implying that she could indeed swim.

[Moshi Kaimenko]

She gives Xiao Hua the oddest look.

"Damn and here I thought the reputation of the Iuchi were exaggerated and all you lot just had dandelion fluff in your heads. Congratulations on redeeming your Family." It was hard to tell whether the woman was sincere or if it was just another sample of her dry sarcasm. "Well, Xiao Hua-san, you'll just have to go in twice, now won't you?"

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"Does dog paddling count?" Rinzuki pantomines by way of example, and looks up to Kaimenko hopefully.

[Ikoma Hikaru]

Hikaru stands over to the side of the group, and indeed looks a we cat. His cloths hang from his thin frame as water drips off him and starts to form a small puddle. No use going and drying off as there was a good chance he would end up having to jump right back in.

[Moshi Kaimenko]

The woman's voice takes on that special dryness that looks as if it will be reserved for Rinzuki specifically, "Yes, Rinzuki-san. It does."

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"Okay!" she smiles, bouncing happily to be included in the 'can swim' group.

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Well, Xiao Hua-san, you'll just have to go in twice, now won't you?"

"Aye, ma'm." the man nodded.

[Moshi Kaimenko]

Once everyone has given their answer, she continues briskly, "Rinzuki-san, you're next in the water. Ikoma-san and Kaito-san, you'll be working to get her out of the water."

"Xiao Hua-san with the Daidoji and the Akodo. That leaves Shinjo-san, Choukichi-san and the Asahina to form up the last group. You know what to do, get to it! I want to hear splashes and flailing!"

[Akodo Jishaku]

Jishaku nods to his team and moves over to the railing. "Ready to throw yourself in Iuchi-sama?" He passes the end of the rope to the Daidoji and gets ready to pull them in quickly.
