Seiko picked up her statue and tucked it away. She was ready to leave this place. No offense to Osano-Wo, of course, but... she loved the sea too much to stay too long on an island.

Of course, being on land lets you appreciate the sea even more... maybe I should stay a little longer.

Moving precisely into position, she silently followed the Isawa after a nod. It was easy, once the discomfort of conversations with samurai ended, to simply fall into the old forms and habits, and so it came naturally to her as she departed.
