(Moon 13th, foredeck, Evening) Uncharted seas

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Not every time. Just when I get excited." he explained, still blushing. "So, please don't worry. It's alright."

[Shiba Naomi]

He wouldn't blush like that if he was possessed, Naomi reasoned.
"Alright... I trust you," she nodded in reply to his assurances, but more to her own decision.

"Just let me know whenever I overstep. I'm not quite sure what is proper or not for a Unicorn... I've mostly dealt only with my own clan."

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Erm... As for that, I think that it's almost impossible for you to overstep." he reassured her. "I have travelled quite a lot and... have never quite seen anything that would overtly shock me. People are different."

"And yet, all is one." the man added, smiling.

[Shiba Naomi]

She nodded understandingly.
"Shinsei teaches us so."

"I'm... at least glad that you seem to be such a nice person. I was worried when father first told me about you, since the last meeting a member of my family had with one of your clan was... at Toshi Ranbo. Daijiro was there, but he never likes to talk much about what happened." Naomi shook her head. "Not that you're like that, of course. I've seen it now."

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

The man blushed again. "Thank you, Shiba-san." he nodded to her. "I... was rather shocked when I first heard of the arrangement, as I have explained. But, having met you, I think we may be able to make it work." the man smiled, trying to encourage her. "You are pleasant to talk to, as well. Something my grandmother to look in a wife. 'Find a girl you have something to talk with, even when you are fifty', she told me." the man chuckled.

"Toshi Ranbo... was an unfortunate... for more reasons than one. My family wasn't directly involved, fortunately. Luckily the matter has been more or less resolved by now." he continued, more serious. "I am happy that your brother made it."

[Shiba Naomi]

She smiled. "Your grandmother sounds very wise then." I'm glad he at least seems to a spiritual man.

"Yes... it's over now, and the Empress, blessed be her reign, seem to have forgiven for the past actions." Naomi's smiled widened as she thought of her oldest brother. "We were all relieved too. He arrived with the Elemental Masters to stop the fighting, and at least some of the things he have said is that he hold no grudge to your clan for what happened, as he was only glad to save their lives as well as the others. We do not believe in bloodshed for the sake of it... we Shiba wish to protect, not to slaughter."

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Yes, so I have been told." he nodded to her, smiling as she told about her family.

He yawned.

"I think I am going to excuse myself, Shiba-san. It is late after all."

[Shiba Naomi]

"Of course," she bowed. "Forgive me for keeping you."

[Iuchi Xiao Hua]

"Oh, no such thing. My pleasure." he nodded to her. "Carry the blessings of the Fortunes, Shiba-san." the man nodded, rising his hand to a quick prayer.

[Shiba Naomi]

"Fortunes watch over you. Good night." She bowed once more as he made his prayer.

After he left, she cast another quick glance at the sea surrounding them. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, for now...
With a shrug, she eventually retreated down below as well.
