I'm gonna Kill Him (Moon 15, Aftdeck, Afternoon, Open)

[Yoritomo Choukichi]

When Rinzuki pulls out a scroll, Choukichi starts edging closer, still hoping the situation can be settled without a fight or the reckless calling of the kami in the middle of the sea of shadows.

Dageki turned to face the woman who had hit him and raised his fist in the air to return the favor and give her a bruise of her own to remember this. When he saw Qulan in front of him instead he glared daggers at her, his mouth curling into a snarl. He stopped though, and glanced past her to Rinzuki with a look that could burn paper. Slowly, ever so slowly, the fist loosened and his arm slowly dropped to his side. He did not stop glaring at the Shinjo however.

"Shinjo-sama should step aside so I can discipline my subordinate." There was a barely restrained fury behind those words.

Furaito, for her part, looked equal parts stunned and terrified that Qulan had stepped between herself and Dageki. At the mention of discipline she lowered her head some, but didn't cower away from the idea of it.

[Shinjo Qulan]

"No." Qulan answered sternly. "She has done nothing but try and stop you from doing something foolish out of anger. Depending on what you were about to say to Iuchi-san, she might have saved you from harsh discipline yourself. And I find that may be the case. Hitting her won't do any good."

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Fuichi raised a snow-white eyebrow at the confrontation. This was one angry man. Unfortunately, he knew exactly what the cure for this was.

He approached. "Excuse me. You are Dageki, Touhi's brother? I am Daidoji Fuichi. I've meant to ask her how the tea has been working. Has she seen any improvement?"

[Volsung]

Dageki narrowed his eyes as Qulan refused to moved. She could feel his anger and tension building as she spoke. "I said-"

Dageki froze as Fuichi approached them, his eyes locking on the man, and in an instant all that tension and anger was released, pointed directly at Fuichi. The Ashigaru shouldered past Qulan and took three quick steps towards the Daidoji.

"You son of a bitch!"

He wound his fist back again and swung hard. Connecting with the side of Fuichi's face, the blow was hard enough to break bones.

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Initiative=26

Fuichi accepts the punch, having known that that is precisely what would happen. He extends a hand toward the Unicorn.

"Don't interfere." He then holds up his other hand toward Dageki. "I can't imagine you're finished. I have much yet to repay."

[Shinjo Qulan]

Qulan rushed at the heimin anyway, in attempt to grab him. "Stop it! Do you remember where we are?!"

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Fuichi didn't move from his position. He only stopped to remove the shirt of his uniform. It wouldn't do to get blood on it.

Then, he extended his hands, palms upward, to the raging heimin. "Please, continue."

Qulan grabbed Dageki, trying to pin him down and stop his assault. But after only a brief struggle he managed to break free of her. He turned back to Fuichi, screaming. "Stay away from my sister!"

He swung at Fuichi again, connecting solidly but he couldn't do any more damage to the man.

Only a moment later, Furaito moved to tackle Dageki as well, managing to get a hand on the crazed man. "Dammit, get ahold of yourself!"

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki glances at her scroll, but apparently decides better of it as she returns it to her satchel and mumbles something under her breath.

Dageki blinked once or twice, but whatever had happened, it hadn't taken hold and while he was pretty sure someone had just tried to mess with his mind, he had more important matters at hand at the moment.

Top of the Order.

[Shinjo Qulan]

Qulan went to help Furaito hold Dageki down. "Quit it! Stand down!"

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Fuichi cocked his head to the side. "I don't believe he's finished, Shinjo-san. I must atone and he must be purged of anger. This is the quickest way."

[Volsung]

Qulan managed to get a grip on the struggling Dageki, it wasn't a strong one, but it turned out to be just enough. The two women wrestled Dageki back away from the target of his wrath.

"No! Let me go! Smug bastard has to pay!"

Furaito turned on Fuichi. "Baka! He's gonna get in trouble for this." Regardless, she continued to hold her superior back as well. It looked like most of his fury had finally expended itself, though he was still struggling occasionally.

Alright, combat is over unless someone's gonna reignite it.

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Fuichi turned his head to look into Furaito's eyes. "Wasn't he going to get in trouble sooner or later? It is better directed at someone incapable of holding a grudge, no? It is over, as far as I am concerned. I may not have received the full penance, but I think expending the violence in his heart has done Dageki some good, don't you?"

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki looks at the Crane in disbelief.

"Daidoji-san, by my count, that man has insulted at least three samurai within as many minutes, and he struck you twice. That's a death sentence, no matter how much vengeance remains in his heart."

She jabs a finger towards at Dageki as the laughing winds blow through her hair.

"The man is hellbound for Toshigoku, and good riddance to him."

[Daidoji Fuichi]

The Daidoji's serene regard is turned to the Iuchi.

"It is only a death sentence if you report him. Are you so cruel as to deny Touhi a brother, or to hold this man's words to him when he is clearly mad with worry for her? I have done them a great wrong, to do them another would be wrong in turn."

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"When a dog goes mad, you do not forgive it and send it off to play with your children!"

[Daidoji Fuichi]

Fuichi gave her a look that was equal parts serene and disappointed. "This is no dog. He is commander of ashigaru, and a son, a brother. I have no means of preventing you from seeking injustice; I had merely hoped that the Iuchi were at least as compassionate as the Shinjo or the Ide."

[Volsung]

Furaito kept hold of Dageki, though most of his rage had burned out by now. Still, it never hurt to be careful. Especially with Dageki. She didn't say anything to the Daidoji's question to her though, though it didn't look like she agreed with him. The idea that Dageki might actually get killed over this caused her to pale some though.

Dageki meanwhile was still glowering at everyone involved in this, but he had enough sense at least to keep his mouth shut.
