General Pre-Game Information

Time Slots and Day Progression
Every approved character will have 3 time slots (Morning, Afternoon, Evening) per IC day. Each IC Day will be released every day (with weather information) until the weekend before game start. You will have the weekend before game start to wrap up your threads. Once game starts, this forum will be locked and no more threads or posts will be allowed.

Yes, if you wish, you may make new threads in IC days that have already been put up.

Thread Locations
Because of the foreshortened days and time slots, you need not concern yourself with posting in 'overlapping locations'. So, you can have two threads in the forecastle in the morning on pre-game day 1 and we won't give a Figgy Newton. Also, please keep your threads to this sub-forum or I shall be quite irate with moving your threads to the proper place.

GM Presence
We will not be actively monitoring this forum as we approve characters and tie up preparations in the background. That said, it doesn't mean that we won't keep an eye out for shenanigans. If you feel that certain objectionable material has been posted, flag the post and we'll see to it.

Don't be an asshat
As a rule of thumb, don't be an asshole unless your character has a reason to be. At which point, you should expect in character consequences for your actions and we, in turn, expect you, the player, to take that with good humor. Out of character jackassery is not something the staff will tolerate. Your behavior pre-game will be taken as an indication of your behavior when game starts and we are more than happy to give your space to someone who doesn't find this rule too onerous.
