Story Time with Cook (Moon 15, Galley, Morning, Open)

[Volsung]

Cook smiled some. "Only interesting? Ah, I must be losing my touch in my old age." She looked down at the potato she was peeling. "That's a riddle that will likely never see an answer. Not until the end anyway."

[Bayushi Hoshi]

Hoshi gave a light wave of her hand with an amused look in her eyes, "Iie, Supaisu. The tale was easily beyond mere interesting, it hasn't failed at that. There was just little good that came from the parties involved, they've yet to find their good ending."

[Volsung]

Supaisu shrugged, a little sadly. "Unfortunately not all true tales have a good ending."

[Bayushi Hoshi]

Hoshi crossed her arms together and looked to the woman with a glint in her eye. "Mm...I find myself too readily to agree with you...but I do reserve the fact that there are sometimes some good endings out there. They're just very rare. There must be some happy people out there."

[Volsung]

Supaisu smiled in a more grandmotherly way. "I didn't say all stories don't have a happy ending. They happen, though I could not say how rare or plentiful they are. I know some stories that end well, and some that don't."

[Bayushi Hoshi]

"You've been a strange time to tell one with an unhappy ending Supaisu," She said with a tinge of disapproval then softened a touch. "But I hope you won't have a shortage of pleasant tales the next time we should meet and you're feeling like sharing."

[Volsung]

"Well the story depends on what comes to mind at the time." She finished another potato. "I've been around for many years Bayushi-sama. I'm not in any danger of running out of stories, and I'll be sure that the next one is a bit more upbeat."

[Bayushi Hoshi]

"Mm. Or it maybe best to save it for a time where it's most needed if we're going to be clearing these seas anytime soon." She nodded once at the elder. "I'll be returning on my walk. It was enlightening Supaisu."

[Volsung]

"Should be soon. Doesn't usually take more than a few days to pass through the Sea. Fortunes willing. But the Captain hasn't failed us yet." She nodded again. "Well, I'm certain I will see you again soon, Bayushi-sama. Have a good day."
