Having delivered his messages to the Captain and the gunso of his own ship, Akodo Jishaku set off at a fast pace to speak with the commanders of the other vessels in their small fleet. Carrying his daisho for the first time in days he took note of the strange things going on around him, but did not let himself be distracted by them. It was important that he speak with the other Captains as soon as possible.

The familiar white-haired form of Daidoji Kiriyo was clear on the dock, surrounded though she was by what were likely recruits. She was barking orders in a cold tone that carried well despite being quiet and the men and women around her stood at full attention, not even daring to look around. A handful of locals stood nearby, staring at the Crane captain in what was either awe or horror, warding themselves repeatedly when they thought no-one was watching.

Jishaku moved toward the ship, giving off the sort of aura that one naturally moves away from unless one wishes to deal with 3 feet of steel. Swiftly he moved up the gangplank onto the Orochi's Wake, and made his way through the crowd of recruits until he was obvious to the Captain. At that point he bowed deeply and awaited permission to speak.

...shifts, by nikutai. I hear one word, one whisper, of any man or woman with the Wake's mon stepping even a toe out of line and every last one of the bastards for that shift are on report until we reach Rokguan again, not to mention the hiding the nikutai is going to get. Dismissed!"
The crowd of recruits bowed like reeds, murmurs of 'Hai, Captain' rising from several throats. Most turned toward the nearest hatch but a small group of six made their way out from the dock, a rather nervous-looking woman in Agasha mons in the lead.
Kiriyo, who had turned to watch them go, didn't so much as look Jishaku's way. "Yes, Cub?"

He appraoches closer so that his words will not carry. "Daidoji-sama. The ship that destroyed the vessel we recovered the gaijin from is currently docked in this port." He gives her its relative location from them at that moment, and the description of the four-handed blue flag.

"I see." Blue eyes narrowed in distaste. "And I am supposed to do what with this? Barricade? Blow it out of the water? Stage a watch?"

"The Captain implied the latter, Daidoji-sama. He asked that I inform all the Captains so that all are prepared in case of trouble from that quarter." He remains at attention, awaiting her response.

She grunted, the sound odd coming from such a dainty creature. "Very well. I'll pipe the Ray. Anything else?"

"Thank you Daidoji-sama. There was nothing else, other than to say that my navigation training goes well and I thank you for sharing your knowledge. My legs are getting more accustomed to standing still for long periods of time." He smiles lightly. "Speaking of time I shall take up no more of yours Daidoji-sama." The Lion bows respectfully and waits to be dismissed.

This, at least, eased her glower. "That is good to hear. Perhaps we'll all be lucky and you'll soon be charting how we leave this Kami-forsaken land. Off with you, now."

"Hai, Daidoji-sama." having been dismissed he takes his leave and returns to the docks from the Orochi's Wake.

Not two minutes later, the shrill sounds of a ship's whistle began sounding out the message.

With the fleet Captains informed Jishaku looked around to see if the Scorpion had followed him. Taking a walk by the ship causing all this fuss might not be an awful idea, but going alone was fairly foolish. As he considered his options the Lion mingled with the people on the docks, listening to the conversations taking place and getting a feel of the general mood.
