Housed in the rear half of the small cabin built upon the deck that houses the Captain, the Map Room is carefully kept and maintained. Within are the star charts, ocean charts, and assorted instruments with which a cartographer or navigator would ply their trade. In times of strife, it is the war room and it has a myriad of markers and tokens for the planning of strategies upon maps as well as copies of the Empire's greatest strategical texts, Akodo's Leadership principle among them.
Though the room is small, it is as opulent as any Imperial chamber, for it is the heart and soul of the ship. Furnishings, including the shrine to Suitengu, are all made of the finest materials, down to the fine silk cushions upon the eight seats about the great ebony table. A connecting door, likely leading to the Captain's chambers, lies behind a silken hanging.
