As training space, the armoury was cramped to her liking but at the same time more comforting than training topside. Hoshi knew she wasn’t being paranoid on her feelings of being watched, whether by the locals or those threatening them. It was a good idea to be less in sight.
With her make–shift practice weapon, she went through practice in the situation she found herself in battle again, beyond dark alleyways.

The thing was, Hoshi was being watched.
Seiko had walked up, quietly, to the armory, and now stood just outside the doorway, observing the Scorpion at practice. She didn't feel like disturbing her, didn't feel like talking... didn't feel like doing much of anything besides just watching, actually.

Hoshi glanced up for a moment, only to checking whether or not it was a gaijin invading the decks then continued without interruption. She didn't forget her manners however and properly slacked her arm to lose the momentum of her ropes without harm to herself. "Good afternoon Kaiu-san." She said in greeting, not obligating her to do the same as she returned to her practice, whirling the block and tackle.

"Bayushi-san," Seiko replied, giving the Scorpion a return bow.
She did nothing else though, partly lost in her own thoughts.

Hoshi continued her training, striking her with the weight on defensive maneuvers. She struck twice both with the left and right sides before back stepping with the whirling weapon at the ready. This was followed with bolder strikes that launched the weapon farther with a spin of her stance.

To say Kichirou wasn't himself was an understatement. His normally open good-natured personality was gone replaced with...well nothing really. Giving his cousin a wide berth, as wide a berth as he could given the size of the Armory, he moved passed her and the Crab before stopping near the things to tend to his sword.
Offering both women a bow before sitting down to do his work he begins setting out the things he would need to do the job.

Seiko returned the second Scorpion's bow, but otherwise said and did nothing. She wasn't really even watching, more... just present.

Hoshi only gave a glance to Kichirou to acknowledge him, hoping that her cousin would be understanding if she couldn't greet him directly at the present. There were two more strikes given before she returned into a more stable stance, assured that her invisible opponent had distanced themselves away from her enough, she launched the weight forward...
spun in rapid succession around the room beam she was aiming for.

In a kind of trance, Seiko just watched the Scorpions. What she thought, no one but her knew.

Hoshi quickly moved afterward to shorten the slack on the rope and strengthen her hold on the beam, or her would be opponent in this case, from getting away. She approached closer while she was doing this, a hand on the other end of the rope.
