[Bayushi Kichirou]

"Ah, Akodo-san. I was present at your instructional session with Daidoji-san. I must profess a lack of knowledge in that particular field of combat as well. Perhaps I should have taken part, well there is always tomorrow I suppose." Kichirou offers the Lion a bow in greeting before rolling the conversation right along.

"The most common lesson I'm learning so far is that I need to be more adaptable while on a ship. The situations change about as often as the wind it seems so it pays to keep an open mind to every situation and be able to react with the best possible tactic at any given point."

[Hida Musasha]

Musasha listens to the two of them, "We jumped rope this morning." It would sound like a joke...coming from someone else.

[Bayushi Kichirou]

"See, that precisely!" Kichirou says getting a bit excited, "A perfect training technique. It improves one's wind and improves one's balance on the shifting deck as well as increasing coordination between hand and foot."

[Akodo Jishaku]

"Ah yes, I remember now Bayushi-san. I would be most pleased to spar with you tomorrow if you have the time? And yes, life aboard ship requires a great deal of flexibility. Arm yourself with as much knowledge beforehand. Have you spent much time on the water before?"

At the rope comment he looks from the Scorpion to the Crab and back. "..." ... "Jumped rope?"

[Hida Musasha]

He nods, "We had few training tools, rope, rope, and rope. I made my group grab two coils of rope each, and jump a third as it was twirled. Agility training, with a bit of strength and endurance training thrown in."

[Bayushi Kichirou]

"I have not, the time so far spent here is my first experience with a ship of any kind. I am regretful that I had no time in which to learn the proper methods of rope use or the principles of sailing before being sent to this post. It all happened rather fast for me..." Kichirou offers even as he begins to work on his armor more earnestly.

[Akodo Jishaku]

"Aha, that does sound like a useful training exercise Hida-san. I'll stop by and take a look one of these days." He fixes the Scorpion with an interested glance. "Why regret your lack of experience when you have been given the opportunity to gain that which you do not have Bayushi-san? It will not be long before you are proficient I'm sure."

[Bayushi Kichirou]

"As am I Akodo-san." the Scorpion offers with a grin even as he begins crawling among the insides of his armor and cleaning it his voice echoing ever so slightly, "My only concern is that I may have need to be proficient before I have had time to become so."

[Akodo Jishaku]

"Ah, quite so. Well fortunately for everyone we are still on a training mission at the moment. If you want a few tips for life aboard ship I'm happy to share my experience. Much of seamanship if simply learned by being around those who know what they are doing and asking plenty of questions. Which duties have you been assigned to so far?" He finishes with the katana and moves on to his wakizashi.

[Bayushi Kichirou]

"Besides the general duties of sailing? I am to be in this very Armory every afternoon maintaining the bows and fashioning new arrows." Kichirou says as he extricated himself from his armor, "My days labor sits in that bucket over in the corner." he offers nodding to a bucket of arrows.
