Musasha pokes his head into the sick bay, before turning around and walking out.
He does this every couple minutes for quite a while, resulting in a weird peekaboo effect. His heavy footfalls and the tetsubo scraping against his armor, however, keep forcasting his movement in and out.

Fuichi waits until the Hida 'peekaboos' the sixth time before remarking. "Is there something I can help you with, Hida-san?"

The big man simply shakes his head and disappears again.

Fuichi frowns, waiting for him to return. "May I ask what you are doing, then?"

Nozomi watches with some interest, glancing to Fuichi in between the Crab's entrances.
"H-Hida-san... ?"

Fuichi looks over to Nozomi with a quizzical expression. Finally, he decided that to speak with a Crab you must speak like one.
"Explain."

He simply replies, "Steps between the deck door and this one." He kept going, as if learning something by rote alone.

Nozomi Watches for a bit longer and tries to think like the Crab. Finding herself at a loss, she stands next to the place where Musasha would stop and turn.
"H-hida-san? Wh-why are you counting th-that? What m-makes that important?" She wondered if it was a bit of superstition on the man's part, as he'd said he was part of a ship before and each one seemed to come up with it's own little set of beliefs.

He replies, "If I'm blind, er carrying an injured on each shoulder, I had better not fall down th' steps 'cause I missed un." He begins to climb back up.

Nozomi blinked. It was actually a pretty good reason to try and memorize one's way to the sickbay.
She waits to ask her next question until he's finished another round. "H-have you had to d-d-deal with that b-before?"

He nods, "Twice. Once with black ichor on my face from some hideous beast, once with two of my cousins in my arms and one on my back."

He nods as he turns again, "I can't fail them in a time of need, so I must prepare." He begins another circuit.
