He had made it down the stairs without falling which was likely a good sign or at least he took it as one. Wandering into the galley about half way through the hour the young Yoritomo found the closest open seat and plopped himself down trying his best not to look nearly as drunk as he felt. "Supaisu-san." He called from his seat mostly disguising the slur of his voice. "Do we have any Khava?"

Cook had been busy terrorizing the ferrets, who had been sneaking pieces of fish off the plates while she wasn't looking. While the two sneak-thieves ran chittering past the Yoritomo, Supaisu kept herself from throwing a pan after the pair.
"Kava, Yoritomo-sama?" The look of anger was almost instantly replaced with one of joy. "Absolutely! Isawa-gunso just got me a new batch of the stuff. Very potent, rich aroma. Very good, very promising." The woman was already bustling to go make a cup, whether the Yoritomo asked for this special blend or not.

Kaito grinned at the ferrets as they ran past they were rather cute little buggers and he couldn't quite recall if he had shared a drink with Suitengu for them or not. "Sounds good, the offerins took a wee bit more outta me then I thought so." A pause as he takes a breath. "I could use a lil bit of a pick me up."

"Offerings, Yoritomo-sama?" Cook quirks an eyebrow as she gets to work making the pot of coffee.

"Hai!." Came the rather exuberant reply. "To Suitengu-no-kami, one drink for him and for the crew for each member of the crew that were needing his blessing. It's a tough one this offering but ol' Capn Saotoshi used to swear by it."

Cook chuckled as she poured some already boiled water into the cup she had prepared and handed it over to Kaito carefully. "Quite a few offerings, that, Yoritomo-sama. Hope you didn't have to do all those alone."

"Just most of 'em but I finished. Though got to admit my portions got to be a little lighter as it went on. Couldn't go passing out or quitting half way done though at least I got the important folks outta the way early."
Happily accepting the cup he takes a drink and starts sputtering a moment avoiding spitting out the liquid by swallowing. "That's hot."

"Hai. Brings bad luck to not finish a blessing." Cook adds. She keeps from laughing as the Yoritomo sputters and instead raises an eyebrow at the much younger man. "It's kava, Yoritomo-sama. It's supposed to be hot. Have you never had kava before?" The woman looked incredulous that a Yoritomo did not drink kava.

Kaito nodded looking at the offending brew for a moment before answer. "Hai, I've had Khava before just didn't figure it'g be so hot." Taken a moment to blow on the brew he takes small sip. "It's good though." He said as if the drunken Yoritomo could really be called a connoisseur of anything at the moment.

Cook chuckled. "Then you've never had a proper cup of kava. Straight from the mug. The heat blends the tastes together more."

"i'll have to remember that the next time I get some Khava then." He said nodding. "Do we have any rice back there?" He said motioning towards the kitchen. "Capn Wakanabe always side Rice was the best thing ta eat when ya drank too much."

"You should eat rice before you go out drinking, but a cup after can do you some good too." Cook scolds him playfully as she wanders into the back. No more than a minute later she returns with a bowl of rice.

"Ah thank ya, Supaisu-san." Kaito replied with a grin. "Ya treat a drunken mantis far better then he deserves." He finishes as he fumbles in his sleeve for his chopsticks frowning as he only finds one and reaches in again to look for the other.

Cook rolled her eyes. "I've lost count of the number of drunken Mantis I've had to treat. Amazed there haven't been more stumbling down here or to sick bay looking for ways to beat a hang over."

"Might be because they don't plan as well as I." Replied Kaito with a confident nod. He was convinced half his crew mates had rocks for brains anyways.

"Or they don't take to drink like some do." Cook smiled. "Haven't seen much in the way of drinking from this lot as of yet."

"Or Singing." Replied Kaito woth a small frown. "It's all terribly dull of them." He said with a small sigh. "Not like they would sing right anyways."

Cook sighed theatrically. "I heard it's because the Captain angered someone high up in the ranks. Got himself a bunch of teetotalers for recruits that barely know how to swim."

"Ha!, That's the damn truth. That pretty little scorpion I share shift with doesn't even appreciate the warm meals we get. Likely wouldn't even know a well cooked meal if it bit her in the behind." He says with a shake on his head. "Throwing perfectly good fish back because it's to big for her to eat alone. Doesn't think about anyone but herself that one."

Cook blinked. "Tossed good fish back? Well, it was a Scorpion. They aren't well known for sharing after all. Don't suppose you know what kinda fish it was."
