[Day 5, Early Afternoon] Calming the Kittens [Open]

[Yoritomo Choukichi]

As soon as he had seen the signs of the storms coming, Choukichi headed for the ship. Sage and Thyme had handled the first storm on the way here well enough, but he had been there with them the whole time to comfort them, and with another storm coming, he intends to do the same. Dressed in only simple pants with his collection of charms around his neck, he sits in the galley watching the two young kittens scamper around with a smile, not nearly as afraid of the storm as he had expected.

[Shiba Nozomi]

Still feeling off-kilter from the morning's revelations, Nozomi heads to the center of the ship, where she promptly has her toes scurried over by something small, fuzzy, and just out of her range of vision.

"Er...?" A quick list of possibilities runs through her head before it is suddenly stopped by a second small fuzzy form colliding with her leg.

"Oh! It's just you guys..." Smiling, she bends over to pick up the little bundle of fluff... and is promptly swatted at by five tiny claws. "Hey! ow.."

[Yoritomo Choukichi]

Choukichi smiles at Thymes actions and offers Nozomi a polite bow.

"Good afternoon Shiba-san, I hope you are doing well?"

[Shiba Nozomi]

She looks up suddenly, not having noticed his presence at all before, and falls into a near-reflexive bow. "S-sumimasen, Yoritomo-san... I d-didn't see you th-there..." She sucks lightly on the swatted finger.

"Not out enjoying the s-sights?" It hadn't escaped her notice that most of her crewmates seemed perfectly at ease with the idea of wandering around a gaijin city. That a Mantis, who knew the language, would be here, on the ship was a bit surprising.

[Yoritomo Choukichi]

Choukichi waves away any of her concern.

"The storm is quite bad, I wanted to check up on Sage and Thyme to make sure they are ok before heading out again since I was away all yesterday."

[Shiba Nozomi]

Kneeling, the she manages to pet Thyme just a little before he decides to try attacking her hand again. "He's a f-feisty little one, isn't he?"

[Yoritomo Choukichi]

He nods his head and keeps an eye on the other little kitten circling around behind her.

"Hai, he's a handful, a lot more agressive than his brother."
