Seiko made her way to the gallery.

Hot meals, hot meals... who needs hot meals? Hot meals meant company, and Seiko wasn't much for company. Or they weren't much for her. One of those. She didn't pay attention to which. Why bother?

She smiled as she entered, but said nothing. With the late meal so soon, the Kaiu expected the kitchen staff to be very busy, and so wasn't keen on getting in the way.

Seiko was correct. There was quite a bit of bustle happening in the kitchen area. Two voices were coming out of the room, though it looked as though the galley itself already had the plates and cups set up for the eventual rush of samurai.

Seiko walked towards the kitchen, not trying to be quiet, but not being unnecessarily loud either. She figured that the people in the kitchen would not hear her coming, but there was always that chance.

Probably give the kitchen staff a scare. Best just to get the food and go.

Cook was busy at work and didn't notice Seiko until she was already into the kitchen. She looked at her carefully, stepping away from the food long enough to bow before getting back to work. "Hai, samurai-sama? What can I get for you?"

Seiko didn't waste time.

"Something to eat. Doesn't have to be hot. I would prefer to eat before the rush."

Cook looked around the room briefly. "Ahh, hai. She stirred the pot one more time and then turned to pick up a piece of dried chicken and tossed it on a plate with some vegetables and poured some of the cold tea.

"Here, samurai-sama. I hope that is enough." She keeps her eyes down as she offers the plate and tea.

"Perfect," Seiko replied, taking the plate. "I shall leave you to your duties."

With that, she turned and left the kitchen to find a place to sit down and eat.

Once Seiko was gone, Supaisu returned to the matter at hand of cooking for the ravenous appetites of hungry samurai. A work which required most of her attention.
