With the majority of the crew attacking the enemy boat Kichirou knew their own was vulnerable. At the least more vulnerable to any kind of attack. With the fog and the night a small band could sneak aboard and decimate what crew remained to guard The Half Moon so the Scorpion had donned his armor and carried his daisho as well as his Yumi....just in case.

Silently he paced the aftdeck his eyes moving between the railing of the ship and as far out as he could see through the fog and darkness.

Toritaka Punchiru comes aboard in the mists, quietly peering out toward the location where the enemy should be.

"Hail the watch." he calls, low but audible.

"Good evening Crab-san." Kichirou says the emotion in his voice nearly nonexistent, "I don't think we've formally met before. Bayushi Kichirou." he offers with a bow before turning his eye to the fog again.

"I am Toritaka Punchiru. I am pleased to meet such a dutiful guard."

Punchiru looks out into the fog.

"How do you think it is going? I thought our plan was...hasty."

"Hasty was requisite. For too long already whatever has lied in wait on that ship has had time to gather information on us as we moved about Lanka. Better to handle it now rather than later on the open sea and in uncertain conditions. I do not know what we face so I cannot offer an opinion on how they may be doing." Kichirou says hollowly, "I hope they do well however. My kin, as well as your fight for all our lives on that boat." he finishes fixing the Crab with a steady look.

"I would have preferred to fight with them but three Scorpion heralds doom. Two is preferable." he nods looking back out to the fog.

"I wish I could have been of some use. There are many roles which seem to have been laid aside for haste."

Punchiru looks out, peering into the fog.
