Having been standing in the rain talking, instead of resuming her conversations, she took her bokken and smaller wooden wakizashi and practiced her ninten until her watch was over.

With Kaimenko's dismissal Qian-Fan looked up at the rain for a moment before disappearing below to his bunk.
