Hikaru breaths out as he lefts the arrow fly, hitting the target he set up at the front of the boat easily. Since his lessons the Lion has spent every free moment either practicing or taking care of the bow he was given. The Ikoma lets another go as he thinks about the trouble that seemed to be heading towards the city.

An injured Kakita approaches, attracted by his favorite sport. "Good afternoon." I think I might have heard of this guy. Or spoken to him? I dunno. Whatever.

Hikaru lets the arrow knocked fly, it hits the target towards the center. He turns and says "Greetings Kakita-san I do not think we have actually been introduced. This one is Ikoma Hikaru. It is an honor to meet you."

Hikaru blinks slightly at the mans reply. It wasn't rude per say however it wasn't what he was used to.
"Well.....how have you enjoyed your time in the city."
Apparently Hikaru doesn't know anything about what happened he day before.

"Terribly! To Jigoku with this place." Despite the bleak content, Sugita says it with a happy tone.

Hikaru raises and eyebrow but replies, "I could not agree with you more Kakita-san. It will be nice to leave."

"Yes. Yes it will. Leave gaijin problems to gaijin. We've lost too many getting involved in things that don't concern us." Sugita's composure gradually worsened until he's mellow faced.

"Lost?" Hikaru' s face turns into a frown. "I spent most of the evening in the city or practicing with the yumi. What has happend?"

... Sugita's eyes widen slightly and he hesitates. "Um. Did you notice the big explosion last night by any chance?"

"I heard something, but just assumed it was one of those infernal gajin......" Hikaru says, his face blank as only a trained courtier could do.

"It was one of those infernal gaijin. With three of our own on board." Sugita says solemnly.

Ask and ye shall receive. When he delivers it, Sugita looks away, too uncomfortable in relating the news. "Bayushi Hoshi. Akodo Jishaku. And the honorless Hida Musasha."

Hikaru blinks at the mention of Jishaku's name however he says a slight touch of anger in his voice.
"Why do you speak ill of Hida-san?"

"Because he lost his wakizashi before he died," Sugita replies simply. He's too withdrawn at this point to show sympathy.

If proper planning is really offensive, I suppose I will have to do it while no one is watchingToritaka Punchiru arrives and quietly begins to inspect the foredeck, making
certain that all is in readiness without making a big production out of it. He stays well-clear of the archery, though he does take some interest in the affair while
attempting to predict the weather for their departure.

Hikrau frowns at the Crane. He couldn't really find fault with the Crane, however he still felt speaking of a dead comrade as such was distasteful.
For a second his gaze washes over the Toritaka. He nods silently but does not engage the man in conversation. He if he wished to speak he would do so.

Sugita wouldn't speak ill of a dead comrade. That would make him even more upset. "Toritaka-san..." he says absently now that the Lion is brooding too.

Punchiru looks grim.
"Good afternoon, Kakita-sama, Ikoma-sama."
He seems torn.
"I hope to prepare...in a general way. Thus to avert unlikely calamity. I do not mean to interrupt your practice. As you know, the Falcon revere archery...even if my talents lie elsewhere."
