Standing and scanning the horizon, Kotsu watches for possible raiders or other problems as the recently returned sunlight fades once more into darkness. The Dragon is dressed in the normal uniform of sleeveless shirt with grey trousers. A knife can be seen on his hip.

Hoshi quietly made her way to one of the railings of the ship and rested her arms on the railing as she took in the horizon. Perhaps for the same reason or merely catching the first good sunset she saw in a while. She took a small pause from her viewing and honoured the Kitsuki with a polite bow. It was clear the Kitsuki was on duty according to the roster, so she didn't make herself particularly intrusive. She doubted a Kitsuki would allow himself to be distracted by a Scorpion even if she tried though.

There is a polite bow for offered to the Bayushi, as Kotsu joins her at the railing. He would still able to keep an eye on the waters around the ship.

"Good evening, Bayushi-san."

Hoshi returned the greeting. "Good evening Kitsuki-san. I hope that I'm not in the way of your watch, I can be passing by if you wish."

"I can still see the waters around the ship from here, Bayushi-san. I trust the Fortunes have seen fit to bless you since we last spoke..."

"This one is Bayushi Hoshi." Hoshi took a pause and bowed again, "Mm, gomenasai Kitsuki-san. I didn't recall speaking much with you until now. The Fortunes have granted me a pleasant day, thank you. I hope that they have also blessed you in the same way."

"We spoke a little during Moshi-gunso's ballista training, If I recall correctly, Bayushi-san. As for the Fortunes, they have guided me as they always do."

He looks out at the setting sun.

"I'm grateful we've passed through the dark troubled waters. Not something I'd care to do for any longer period of time..."

(Gah, player error! That was so brief.)

Hoshi frowned internally at her bad memory of that exercise, they did exchange names at the very least. The rest of that hour was spent on meeting the Moshi's demands. "-Ah, hai. Now I do recall it..."

"I think you'll find many on board ready to agree with you. With the captain's guidance, I was told that we only went through not even half as bad those seas could have been...Thankfully we didn't experience worse." She resisted her urge to shake her head, long past the point to feel disgust of those dark seas.

"I think there are more than a few who'd like to put Moshi-gunso and her words out their memory, Bayushi-san."

Pausing for a moment of thought, the Kitsuki looks at the water and the reflection of the last rays of the sun.

"Aye. Must've been terrible for those who can hear the whispers of the kami and be unable to even call upon such aid."

Hoshi waved a hand in a dismissive gesture. "But those night are passed, everyone might be glad to have something else to worry about ne?"
