[Day 1 – Early Morning] Duty

[Shiba Nozomi]

Murmuring mostly to herself, she says,"I w-wonder if Supaisu would m-mind helping to teach c-cooking..."

"W-we could both im-improve our skills..."

[Yoritomo Kaito]

The mantis nodded. "Likely so Shiba-san." He replies after a moment. "Have you been wanting to learn how to cook for a while now?"

[Shiba Nozomi]

"I-I've been c-curious, yes..."She looks away shly. "Even if it is just rice..."

[Yoritomo Kaito]

The young mantis grinned. "Well we should likely ask Supaisu-san though I don't figure she'll mind too much as long as we don't burn the rice in the cooking of it. Which shouldn't be a problem really."

[Bayushi Hoshi]

"My way has worked fine, from my view. It is simply the fact that one can only do so much, in regards to the strengths of others." The Akodo said simply. "I am not without true friends, but they are few and far between. We say 'Every Akodo is my brother.' and it is true, but brotherhood doesn't require you to like each other, just depend and trust each other. he says simply.

"Hai, just like any other family." She nodded. "By Imperial Legion expectations, your family has gotten a lot better now ne?"

[Shiba Nozomi]

Her small face glows slightly. "I'll s-see about asking her, th-then..."

[Yoritomo Kaito]

"Alright then, Shiba-san though if ya get to her before I do ya mind telling me what she says?" He asks as he continues about his work.

[Shiba Nozomi]

The gentle curve at the edges of her lips deepens a bit. "Of c-course, Yoritomo-san."

[Yoritomo Kaito]

"Well thank you Shiba-san, I appreciate it." He replies a smiel on his own lips. "Any particular type of wish ya like? I can't guarantee I'll be able to catch it but I figure if I do it's all teh better."

[Shiba Nozomi]

The small woman thinks it over carefully. "I've always been f-fond of smelt... but nothing really b-beats some good hamachi. Especially w-when smoked over p-pine..."

[Yoritomo Kaito]

"Alright then." He said with a small nod. "I'll keep that in mind when I next go fishing though I can't say for certain when that might be. Course even if I catch smoke I doubt we can smoke it but ya never know."

[Shiba Nozomi]

A small bow is given to him as she moves a bit to the left , swab never stopping in it's back and forth motion over the deck. "I look f-forward to hearing the daring tales of your fish hunting t-trips, Yoritomo-san."

[Yoritomo Kaito]

"Tales of fishing trips are generally pretty boring Shiba-san... Well except if you hook a shark or something like that, those can be pretty interesting" He paused for a moment to scratch at his neck before moving back to his work.

[Shiba Nozomi]

Nozomi keeps silent about certain crew member's insistence on the imminent danger of multi-appendaged beasts of curious flexibility. Instead she simply shrugs.

[Akodo Amuro]

"Hai, just like any other family." She nodded. "By Imperial Legion expectations, your family has gotten a lot better now ne?"

The lion nods to her comment not wanting to comment on how he hoped yet doubted such was true. "Of course Bayushi-san.

[Bayushi Hoshi]

Better? The player meant bigger. Oh well, it was the same effect. Hoshi nodded once to the Akodo, "I shouldn't bore you with talk of my hobbies Akodo-san, we'll chat in another occasion." She bowed politely to excuse herself and went to tend to her duties.

[Akodo Amuro]

The Lion watched her go for a a brief moment what was almost a look of sadness crept to his face for a brief instant. You have lived through too much, Amuro. he turned and went back to his work trying to forestall the silent thoughts from encroaching on him.
