Hmm, both the polearm and the navigation class? I'm asking because Hoshi is on the foredeck at the same time, and I was wondering if it was part of her duties, since we're all still trainees.

For the navigation class, it's the same class in two different time slots. As to Kaimenko's, yes people on duty on the deck can go. Lastly, both are optional and not 'required'.

No, not unless you trade shifts. That'd be waaaaay too much a pain in my backside to redo.

Just note that there's no reason that, just because you're morning or evening shift, you can't post in other periods. The periods at teh beginning and end of each shift are pretty much the open season of "General Interaction" in sections like the Aft Deck, Cargo Hold and Galley, shifts can be traded and most people are "General Sailors" and so can be on duty in the fore and aft deck with a moment to spare easily enough. So long as your character is getting the amount of sleep they need, which really only takes up about 3 slots of a day, you've got a fair amount of leeway here. I say this because people do seem to avoid "AM" slots somewhat, outside of NPCs, and the Early AM/Late Evening are major swing times in shifts.

Note for those who wonder why the peasant isn't approaching them: Well, we are prepping to execute a peasant. Amaya may be a PC peasant, but she's still a peasant. She is going to be O-Samurai-sama to everyone unless told to do otherwise, for at least a week. One minute, everyone's talking to her, then one of the peasants wails on some crane and they're going to execute him. It feels a lot like "home" to her, and that means don't approach the samurai. So, if you're at all interested in interacting with her, you'll have to do the approaching when she pops into your threads, salutes and stays silent over to the side.

A minor curiosity really but with some of the recent drops we seem to have some holes in the duty roster O.o Aka we no longer have any medics on duty in the morning.

I didn't want to try and give you all anymore work as gm's but is this going to cause changes in the duty roster? For while it's really not too important on land it may be when we go back out to sea O.o
