You're in good company. For your avatar giving us just some simple base attributes would help. Male, female, strong, petite, dresses richly, dresses practically, etc. Just three or for things would certainly help.

Well I haven't decided on how he looks since I want to make sure the description matches the pic and I want to leave my options open as far as good pics go.....

As for how he acts and stuff well. He used to be a yojimbo but has been recently 'reassigned' to the Ninth. He's kind of chatty and I guess well intentioned, easy smile, amicable personality...that kind of thing.

Physically he's average, tends to wear his light armor when he thinks combat is coming.....which on the ship will be most of the time I'm sure. Carries a Daisho and Yumi....

No scars, he's too young to have really seen combat.

Thats about all I can think of.

Those are all good. I'm going to wait a bit before deciding though. I like them all but none of them are 'perfect' so I'm gonna keep looking around and see what else comes up.

Also, as a note, if you find an image you like, but need modified (skin tone, clothing color), just drop me a line. I can do minor changes to features as well, like adding/removing birthmarks, etc.

*snicker* I didn't see it until after I'd submitted. Saw it on the list and thought "Well, that must be in a book I don't have" so ignored it Though it'll be interesting to watch those who do have it. Hopefully they won't all spaghetti incident away the reason their on the boat. Not that I'd ask. I learned on Excel Saga that you never ask a shipmate about their past
