I heard somewhere it was going to be a two parter.... first part out 2012 second 2013 but who knows.

That would allow them to put all of the important stuff that explains 80% of the important stuff in LotR that people were all "huh?" about. So, it wouldn't surprise me at all.

They had to cut so much out of the LotR to keep it at only 3 movies that they are going to be hard pressed to cut from the story of the Hobbit and have it mesh well with the bigger movie. We'll have to see what they do with Gollum to preserve continuity.

Depends on the malady you're healing. Spells are wonderful at healing wounds, not so hot on poisons or disease until a much higher level though. Medicine can work on those if you have the right emphasis from rank 1.

As a side note, until I am done with this job on October 11, I will continue to hate Christmas with a fervor that boarders on zealotry, I will despise people on general principle, and most of all, I will continue to fantasize about a perfect world without war, because every human being alive has ceased to exist.

This is the joy that retail management brings into the hearts of men.

My local fabric store has had Christmas fabric/crafty stuff out since. June.

Haha, yes, fabric stores definitely have their holiday season from June to October. From November through December, you have assholes and idiots telling you they need to make their (insert family/friend title here) a quilt by Thursday, and they blame you for the fact that it isn't possible.
